I'm a huge Starbucks fan to the point of having their logo tattooed on my leg! Sometimes, though, I'm just not in the mood for that Starbucks "kick you in the butt" blast you get. With this in mind, I decided to try their new half-caffeinated Breakfast Blend. Wow! Full flavor and yet very mellow. The tasted is wonderful, and I don't miss the caffeine!...

When my daughter bought a new car at Fitz Mall in Frederick last year, she had a good experience. She got a good deal and everything went smoothly. They told me that I should come back when I was ready to purchase a car even though I live in another state. They said they get a lot of customers from out of state. Well, recently I made the trip to the Gaithersburg Fitz Mall because Frederick didn't sell the brand of car I wanted. Every thing went downhill from that point.

1. From the time I expressed interest in a car until the time I chose the exact car (FOUR DAYS), Fitzgerald raised the price of the car $600!

2. They offered an incredibly low-ball amount for my trade-in. It was an immaculate 3 year old SUV in a hot style and color. They will have no trouble reselling it. The salesman I dealt with was fine. It was the manager of the dealership who was difficult. I think he felt that having driven 3 hours to the dealership I would make any deal they offered. He was wrong. ...

My daughters bought TiVo for me last Christmas. It came with a year's service. At the time, TiVo had a special that allowed me to add TWO extra years for the price of ONE extra year. That was an awesome deal. TiVo has solved my TV viewing dilemmas for me. Once it's set up, you can basically forget about programming things until a new season starts. Programming two things at once, watching something while something else is recording, and having TiVo find things it thinks I might like are all the qualities I enjoy. Being able to pause a TV show as it's being broadcast because the dog has to go out is wonderful. I can imagine ever doing without TiVo ever again....

The Bon-Ton at the Columbia Mall in Bloomsburg, PA is a nice little department store. It may be on the small side, but the merchandise they carry is high quality. If you learn how to shop sales and the clearance racks, you can make out like a bandit! Who pays full price anymore? If there's an item they carry but don't have in stock, they will track one down for you. ...

I buy Natural Balance products because of the quality ingredients that they use. They also do not do any animal testing, which is important to me. I add this product shredded to my dogs' regular Natural Balance kibble. They love it. In small pieces, it also makes an excellent treat....

I've tried several brands of veggie dogs and these, by far, are the best! Whether boiled, microwaved, grilled, or browned in a frying pan, they taste great. If there is one negative, it would be that they feel a bit slimy when thawed. As soon as they are cooked, that feel is gone. They're also very low in fat....
