Brendar1974 says "Great Idea in Theory" about Whirlpool Dishwasher

I like the Whirlpool dishwasher in theory. It doesn't clean as well as advertised. I have to really rinse every dish before I put it in the dishwasher. It also really absorbs smells. I washed a dish that I made Salmon in and my dishwasher still smells like it almost a year later. That may happen with any dishwasher, but it seems that since it is lined with stainless steel, that it should not smell. I do like the way it is organized. It really holds a lot of dishes. I also like that the top shelf is adjustable. It makes it nice during large dinner gatherings because I can wash so many dishes at once. One other thing that seems to be a cronic problem is that grunge collects under the door ont the bottom of the machine. That needs to be cleaned after every load. I do like the way it looks from the outside. It is really sleek and holds my dishtowel. I don't think I will buy another machine though. I have been a little dissapointed.
...

Brendar1974 says "This really passes the time!" about Playstation - PSP Slim 2000

I love the Playstation PSP. Yes it is for me and not a child! I am thirty five and play it constantly. I love the games that are available and how portable it is. It can connect to the internet wirelessly. I use this function all of the time, it is great. I can store tons of pictures on it and show people whenever I want. The screen is plenty big for me to see, and I think it is really clear. There are games for all ages available and you don't need to be sixteen to appreciate it! It is a little greedy with the battery. I had to get a spare because it goes pretty fast when you are game playing. If I am on a long flight, I am always glad that I brought my PSP and extra battery. It can also play movies. That is a great way to spend a flight. In my own world of movies and games! I am there before I know what happened. You can also store music on it. I tell you this thing does everything. When this one dies, I will buy another.
...

Brendar1974 says "Wall of Legos are a great idea" about Lego wall of Legos

I have always bought Legos in the box by theme. I recently went into a toy store and saw the wall of Legos. What a great way to buy them. I purchased a bucket for about twelve dollars and filled it up with random legos. They are just the basic type, but I think they are the best for the value. There are so many things that can be built with the loose legos. My nephew loves them. I think that it makes them more creative because they don't have a picture on a box to build. It is all their own creation and imagination that they have to use. I am surprised how many creative items he can come up with and the hours that he spends making them. Who would have thought that such a time tested toy would be so popular and creative? I love the Wall of Legos and will probably not buy the boxed sets again. They are still a little expensive for what they are, but they are indestructable and always a crowd pleaser in my house!
...

Brendar1974 says "Great vitamin for the price!" about Centrum Complete Multivitamin and Multimineral Supplements

If you have never tried Centrum Multivitamins, you should. I get so tired of spending a fortune at vitamin stores. I finally decided to try a more affordable vitamin. I did a lot of research to find just the right one for me. Most of the other vitamins either have too much of a vitamin or mineral or not enough. Centrum seems to be just the right blend of vitamins and minerals. I also like the small size of the caplet. Some vitamins that I have taken have been so big that I get a sore throat just taking them. I rarely get sick and I contribute that partially to my vitamins. I think it is a great way to take just one pill and get all of the vitamins and minerals that you need for the day. It is also really nice to be able to buy them anywhere instead of a specialty vitamin store or pay a fortune in shipping on the internet. Centrum is a great all around vitamin and I would definately recommend them to my friends and family.
...

Brendar1974 says "Held up great in the Water!" about L'Oreal Voluminous Waterproof Mascara

I used L'Oreal Voluminous Waterproof Mascara when I was vacationing in Costa Rica. If you have not been there, it is so humid. It rained a lot when we were there and to top it off, we went white water rafting. The rest of my makeup was a mess there, but not my Voluminous Waterproof Mascara. It didn't budge. The rest of the women in my group looked like racoons, but not me! I was so glad that I brought it with me. I got the black brown and it looks great with my red hair. It never clumps and is easy to apply. The brush is just the right size so that you can really hit every lash. The only problem that I did have was actually removing it. I luckily tried it before I went, so I knew that I needed to use an oil based makeup remover or waterproof makeup remover. Thank goodness I did. It really sticks to your lashes. No problem going on, but coming off a different story! All in all it really is a good waterproof mascara and I would buy it again.
...

I have really enjoyed my HP Pavilion laptop. The best feature for me is the wireless internet. I love being able to sign into the internet anywhere there is a modem or hotspot. This has really been great for my work since most of it is on the internet. I also really like the sleak look of the laptop. It is really classy and stylish. The big screen has really vivid colors and doesn't scratch easily. The Pavilion comes with a lot of useful programs and options. I love the Light Scribe disk writing software that it came with and use it all of the time to customize my CDs that I burn. The HP updates are user friendly as well and do it automatically. The only aspect that I don't like about the Pavilion is the small mouse pad. It also is not very responsive all of the time. If I have any lotion on my hands, it does not register my movements at all. I think this may be a problem with any mouse pad though.
...

Brendar1974 says "My Hair loves this stuff" about Pantene Pro-V Shampoos

I can't think of anything bad to say about Pantene Pro V shampoos. First, the scent is really good and lasts all day in my hair. It isn't too strong or fruity smelling which has been a complaint of mine with other scents. I feel I am too old to smell like a fruit basket. Second is the texture of the shampoo and lathering. It is super silky feeling and lathers great. It does not strip my hair or make it feel like I didn't even wash it. Third is the managability when my hair dries. I use the moisture control for my course hair and it is really soft and managable after it dries. Pantene controls the frizzies and makes my hair super shiney. Fourth is the bottle itself. I like that the shampoo bottle is cap up and the conditioner is cap down. It makes it easy to identify when you are in the shower and also makes it easy to get the thicker conditioner out of the container. I really like Pantene and will continue to use it.
...

Brendar1974 says "I don't know what I would do without my Shuffle" about Apple iPod Shuffle

I absolutely love my IPOD shuffle. I have four different ones because I wanted one to match each of my gym outfits. I love that it clips onto my shirt. I actually bought it because of this function. It is so small and convenient to use. It is really durable and no screen to scratch up. I load it with my favorite tunes and it is off to the gym. It is great that it doesn't weigh much and when I run I can't feel it bouncing around like the nano. It interfaces easily with your computer and I-tunes. I have never had a problem with it not working. I even accidentaly left it in my jeans and washed it in the clothes washer. It drained the battery, but it still works great. I thought it would be trash for sure, but not so. I also love that they come in so many colors. There is truely one for everyone's tastes. My husband even has one and loves to use his at the gym as well. I would highly recommend the Shuffle to anyone who asked.
...

I absolutely love my BMW Z4. It has been the best car ever! I bought my car in 2008 and have had no problems so far. I have the 3.0 si in a hard top option. It is super sporty and fast if you need it. I live in California, so having a really manuverable car is really important. The inside is really comfortable and stylish. I don't have many complaints about it overall. I don't like the cup holders. They are in the dash and spill on me anytime I take a turn. The first time I had hot coffee on my leg and down my door was the last time I used them. I also don't like the computer. It is very basic and not user friendly. I expected a much nicer computer considering how much the car was. I love the interior leather and burl wood trim. It looks really classy. The paint has been great and easy to keep clean and looking nice. I love the run flat tires that it has and it makes me worry less about getting a blowout. If you are looking for a great sports car, look...
...

Charles Schwab has been a great bank and investment house to work with. I use all aspects of the website and have been very pleased. Their stock trading page is easy to use and tells you exactly the status of all orders. The brokerage account overview lets me know exactly how much I have gained or lost for the day and sends notices to my e mail about the companies that I am invested in. I can get all of my statements and notices through my e mail so I cut down on the use of trees and also the possibility of identity theft. The bill pay option has saved me a bundle in stamps. It also gives me the option of tracking my expenses and a way to prove payment if there are ever any issues. I have called the customer service center and they always treat me great and anwser my call in a timely manner. They are always polite and anwser all of my questions in a professional manner.
...

Brendar1974 says "South Beach diet is super easy to follow" about South Beach Diet

I have been using the South Beach Diet for 3 years now. When I first started it, it was difficult to get off of sugar and lots of carbs. The first two weeks were definately the most difficult to get through. It is the most restrictive time. I had massive headaches and cravings through the first week. The great news was that I lost ten pounds in the first two weeks. The weight loss tapered off after that, but I continued to loose another thirty pounds. I have managed to keep it off by using South Beach's third stage diet. I am a vegetarian, so I thought that a low carb diet would be impossible, but I used meat substitutes and was able to follow it easily. The recipes are really yummy and there are a lot of vegetarian options on their website so this diet really is for eveyone. I would have liked it to not be so restrictive on veggies in the first two weeks. I still ate tomatoes and lost weight. South Beach is a great way to lose weight!
...

Brendar1974 says "The Capresso coffee maker does everything" about Capresso 454 10-Cup Coffee Maker

The Capresso 454 10 cup coffee maker has been a dream! This coffee maker does everything except add the water for you. It has 5 different grind settings that make producing the perfect cup of coffee easy for every taste. It also has a replaceable filter so that you always have great tasting water to make the coffee with. I love the sleek design and easy to read LCD display. You can make any size pot of coffee with just a push of a button. I have only had to clean the grinder channel once and that was because I used a really oily bean. The capresso also has a reusable metal filter so you don't have to use the disposable paper ones if you don't want. That really cuts down on the expense of making coffee. The machine itself is a little pricey, but if you are an avid coffee drinker, it is sure cheaper to do it yourself than going to an expensive coffee parlor. I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone. It is great!
...

I bought my first Proform 750 Treadmill about 6 years ago. My husband and I run about sixty miles per week each and it is still going strong. We were sceptical because it was much cheaper than most treadmills, but six year later and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. We have never had to replace anything on it or had any malfunctio with it. I use the special functions on it like the personal trainer mode with I-Fit and love the variety that it offers. Mine has 6 other pre-programmed modes that range from 3 incline to 8 incline and 3.0 speed to 5.5 speed. There is really something for every fitness level on this treadmill. The track is also wide enough that you don't have to worry about falling off like other treadmills. It also has a heart rate monitor that works great with the personal trainer mode. I really can't say enough good about this work horse of a treadmill. I would highly recommend it to anyone who asked me!
...
