BiggLarr says "Horrible Reception Without The Di-Pole Antenna" about HD Radio Boston Acoustics Receptor Radio HD

The Boston Acoustics Receptor Radio HD has a nice, compact, modern look. It produces quality sound with excellent bass response for a radio with such a small footprint. It should, however, include a built-in CD player considering the $300 price tag. The radio does include a port to plug in a CD player or MP3 player. With the smaller FM antenna supplied, I was unable to pick up many of the locally broadcast HD signals even though I live at a relatively high elevation just nine miles from downtown Pittsburgh. The di-pole antenna was able to pick up those stations very well, but the di-pole antenna itself is huge (seven feet tall and wide) and ugly and was impossible for me to hide. I had to return the radio....

BiggLarr says "Produces A Great Espresso Grind" about Mazzer Mini Dosered Coffee Grinder

The Mazzer Mini is very expensive, but it will probably be the only coffee grinder you ever buy. It is solidly built, weighing in at 22 pounds. The Mini produces perfectly even grinds, even at the finest setting, which is an absolute requirement if you are looking to make coffeehouse quality expresso at home. Coupled with a good espresso machine and good beans, you can make espresso that's even better than the coffeehouse every time. The Mini is also among the quietest grinders you'll find. If not for the timer, it would be easy to leave the Mini on because it is so quiet. The Mini is easy to clean, but once you do clean the burrs, re-calibrating them is something of a chore. But that's my only complaint about an otherwise excellent machine....
