BigBen says "Friends don't let friends use Bank of America" about Bank of America

They get the gold mine, you get the shaft. There are so many good on line brokers, no one should use B of A. Dealt with the for over two years before finally finding lower prices and better service and tools at Sharebuilder.

If you want to actually make money in the market, find a better broker.
...

BigBen says "Cheap to buy, not to sell" about Sharebuilder

"Investment Plan" buys for only $4.00 a pop. Great for starters, but one should build up their money in the "Money Market" account before placing a trade. Buying one share of stock at a time at $4.00 translates into $400.00 commission on 100 share blocks.

They started charging for "enhanced" services a year or so ago that used to be free, but you can still have a "basic" account with no monthly fees.

Margin rates upwards of 11% can cut deep into profits if you are not careful. They also do not allow you to buy all stocks available. If they don't like a stock, you can't buy it. Investment "tools" could be a lot better, too.
...

BigBen says "Easiest to use" about Omega Paw Rollaway

Those of us who love our cats, don't always love cleaning the litterbox. Omega Paw makes it easy! A clean litter box makes for a happy cat, and a happy owner (who doesn't have to clean up a mess!) It also makes for a healthier cat.

Remember to spay or neuter!
...

BigBen says "Four Paws Up!" about Spots and Stripes

These people have more than just of love of cats, they have a calling. Only volunteers donate their time and resources the CNR of feral cats, and then maintain their colonies not just providing food, water and shelter, but often their only good human contact. They have spayed or neutered over 2,000 feral cats, preventing well over 10 BILLION unwanted homeless kittens.

Most charities pay themselves a huge salary first, and if their is anything left over it goes to their cause. Not Spots and Stripes. Every cent goes to the wild cats they care for where ever they may be. Some people have tried to take advantage of them, but they keep on going with their cats, doing what they can, when they can. They've earned my support, and they deserve yours as well. Probably 90% of their income comes from their Founders, the Lemkes, even though they are far from "rich."

When the hurricanes and the tsunami hit, before cashing my check they contacted me to ask if I would prefer to donate...
...

BigBen says "Honest charity where the cats come first" about Spots and Stripes

If they had the donations that other charities pay their founders, they could spay just about every stray feral alley cat in the US. They take care of big cats, too - eight Siberian Tigers in Russia, aid Project: Tiger in India, and have three leopards and two cheetahs in Kenya.

And in return, they pay themselves nothing. If more charities - especially the big ones - were like them, it would be a wonderful world. They actually had an IRS agent write the part of their articles on Incorporation so no one now or down the road can ever get paid. If that isn't dedication, I don't know what is!
...
