BelitaMI says "It's a pretty cool phone." about Blackberry - Pearl 8120 Cell Phone

I always wanted a Blackberry. I have one now and I have to say that there are many features that I don't use. I am a busy person but unless you have a use for staying connected with business I would say that this phone is overhyped. It has a very poor quality construction. It is made of very cheap plastic that gets scratched if you just look at it. It is lightweight, I'll give it that. Overall it has some really cool features and applications but I just don't have a need to use it to the full. I do like the fact that it is kind of a lot of gadgets all rolled up in a little package. It has a great camera and MP3 player with the ability for lots of storage space. I think I get mostly frustrated with the lack of web ability. I don't know if it is just T-Mobile's service or if it is the inability of the phone to take care of online business as needed but I get so frustrated I want to throw it sometimes! I got this phone because we use the Hot Spot @ Home feature because...
...

BelitaMI says "Coolest, most durable and AWESOME phone ever!" about Motorola - Z3 RIZR Cell Phone

This was by far my most favorite phone to date! I loved the smooth slider design. I think my favorite feature on the phone was the fact that I could upload music to it and use full songs as my ringers. It has a great MP3 player built in and even though I used it for a year straight and kept it in its little case it looked almost brand new when I sold it on eBay. I only sold it because my husband switched carriers and it was not supported with the new service. I was extremely bummed out because everything about the phone, including the color was awesome. I had the bright blue one but I think it also came in red. The keypad is very text friendly. The software and menus on the phone are just very user friendly and cool to view. If I could have kept that phone I would probably still have it to this day. For cell phones, the most important thing to me is how text friendly it is. Some software has terrible texting features that are supposedly designed to "help" you but end...
...

BelitaMI says "Texters dream" about LG - enV Cell Phone

This was one of my absolute favorite phones of all time! I have owned countless phones. I tend to get a new one every year or less just because of all of the new features. When we switched to Verizon I wanted this phone. I looked at all the options and it was awesome! I like the cool colors. Mine was orange. I loved the QWERTY keyboard and the easy to use outer screen and keypad as well. If you love to text like me then this is the phone to consider. The only drawback was that it was a little bulky. The inside screen was awesome! Great for viewing pictures or video. If you have Verizon and are always on the go then definitely spend a few dollars a month for navigation. This phone is compatible with the service and it is like having a TomTom in your pocket. I LOVED that feature! This phone also comes in a cool green color and I think silver. Also cool. I wasn't a fan of LG cell phones until this one came along.
...

BelitaMI says "Why doesn't everyone own one of these again?" about Bodum Starbucks French Press

I LOVE COFFEE! Starbucks says that the true way to enjoy their coffee is to brew it in a French press. So I bought this one and I have to say I LOVE it! It is a very simple method of brewing but it makes the best coffee ever! I think probably the best feature of this press is that you can brew coffee as often and wherever you are. If you can boil water you can make coffee! It doesn't require electricity. It's a very "green" and eco-friendly product in my opinion. The only drawback is that if you are having a party you can't brew a large quantity with just one....so buy extras! Just kidding that's not very practical. But seriously, if you love coffee as much as I love coffee you have to try brewing it with a French press. I like strong coffee (you know the kind that your spoon can stand freely in.) This method works great for the way I like my coffee. Cleanup is a snap as it is 100% dishwasher safe and easy to hand clean if necessary.
...

BelitaMI says "IF ONLY YOU COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE STAR RATING!!!!" about Jason Natural Cosmetics Tea Tree Shampoo

I am a natural, organic, green-friendly person. I purchased this shampoo as I love tea tree oil and I have a need to balance my scalp in order for my fine hair to look decent and to avoid itchy dry scalp. All I can say is....wow. How could something so "natural" cause such a horrible reaction? I broke out in hives for a week so bad that I couldn't even work. I know that it was the shampoo that was the culprit because I took it to a biofeedback specialist and they identified it as the cause. When they looked at the ingredients they ended up not being so "natural" after all. I am not allergic to anything until now. I would say if you have any kind of allergies, be careful about Jason products. I still, unfortunately didn't pinpoint which unnatural ingredient caused the problem but I know it's not the tea tree oil because I use it in many of my other cosmetic products. If I could sue for pain and suffering......just kidding. I'm not hateful. I just don't like this stuff....
...

BelitaMI says "Great for newborns and small infants!" about Infantino Sling Rider

I got this as a gift with my first child. I was a little hesitant to use it with my second one after the recall but I did my research and discovered everything was fine with mine. This is a LIFESAVER! There are sooooo many things that a parent can do without and that ends up being a waste of money because it never gets used but this item should go on the MUST HAVE, CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT list! For a newborn, coming into the world, outside of its little snuggly and warm world is rough and takes some getting used to so it almost seems to cruel to insist on them being alone or put down even sometimes. (Don't get me wrong...EVERY mom needs a break sometimes.) But this is a very convenient way to keep baby close and happy while you multi-task. I will say that you need to make VERY sure that baby is VERY well secured in it. I almost dropped my tiny baby on his head because I was rushing. If it weren't for the strong velcro I don't even like to think what would have happened. I...
...

I got this stroller for my second child's shower. I almost cried. If you are a typical mom you can't live without your stroller! It goes everywhere we go. Men just don't understand. They can't live with them and we can't live without them! I have a single Eddie Bauer stroller system from my first child and while it is heavy duty, it does not roll as easily as this double stroller. I like the fact that everyone gets a cup holder and the basket is nice and big to hold the truckload of stuff that you have to have or that you accumulate throughout the day. It maneuvers so well for being kind of "out there" in reference to how far in front of you it is. I have a toddler and an infant and both seats work well for either one of them. We take turns depending on the mood of them. I like the one hand fold feature and am surprised how flat it gets which is great when you have a lot of other baggage to try to fit in the car. Overall, you can't beat the value and quality. It...
...

BelitaMI says "This is the Bentley of High Chairs." about Peg Perego Prima Papa High Chair

This is my favorite high chair! I love the white leather. The one I have is actually white with blue accents. I got this actually second hand from a family member and when I got it it was filthy! After a couple hours of cleaning it up it looked like it was new out of the box. It obviously took a lot of abuse but the fact that the paint was almost flawless and the leather pad looked almost spotless was so impressive to me! It is a very simple design but it works great! I would highly recommend this high chair to anyone. I can't think of any drawbacks. The tray is easy to remove and clean. It might seem expensive at first but if you can purchase it new or even used you can plan on having it for a very long time. The steep price will pay off when you aren't having to replace it with another one for your next child. Peg Perego is an awesome company with very innovative products!
...

BelitaMI says "I wish they made seats in all cars as comfortable!" about Evenflo Triumph 5

This is an excellent car seat and a great value! We bought this carseat for our son when he was 12 months old and had outgrown his carrier, rear-facing seat and it has been great! It is very plush and all of the fabric is removable and machine washable. I have only a couple complaints and its about the pad. The black fades to a blue/purple in the sun and the "pleather" accents easily tear. I like the fact that it has multiple recline positions since it can be used as a rear facing seat for a 5 poung infant also. I also like the quick release and tightening dial. It also has a removable pad and head rest for extra plushness. It is a fairly large seat and is not fun to move in and out of cars but if you want your child to be safe and very comfortable then buy this seat! My son loves to be able to look out the window and with this seat he sits high enough to look out the front window of our Volvo. It is a great seat for the money and compares well to the more expensive...
...

BelitaMI says "Great diaper pail!" about Baby Trend Diaper Champ

This is a very cost effective and easy to use diaper pail. I like this one over others that I have seen as it does not require special bags to be purchased. I use Glad Odor Shield 13 gallon garbage bags and they work great! I will say that if you have some really smelly diapers in the pail you will begin to smell them if you don't change the bag. I think that goes without saying though for any pail. I think this would be great for cloth diaper users as well. Diaper Genie systems wrap every diaper in plastic meaning that not only are you going to flush A LOT MORE money down the toilet, you will be ensuring that that diaper spends a VERY LONG time in the landfill. Not "green"-friendly at all. I will say that my only frustration with it is that when you have any wipes that don't quite stay wrapped in the diaper or if you don't wrap your diaper very well it can get stuck in the rotating plunger and it gets a little frustrating. Also, when the pail is full the rotating plunger...
...

BelitaMI says "The ONLY potty chair to own." about Baby Bjorn Potty

This is the best potty chair period! We bought a few different chairs including the Winnie the Pooh one by Learning Curve but this is the only one that our son can comfortably use. It is rounded and has a high back for comfort. There are no little nooks and crannies for bacteria to grow so it makes cleanup a very simple task. I love being able to empty the contents and rinse or wipe it with a disinfectant wipe and be done. Potty training is tough in itself, who needs a hassle when it comes to the cleanup? I also like that it is a very simple design with no distracting bells and whistles. Sometimes kids become so fascinated by all of the things the chair does they forget what it is supposed to be used for. The lack of sound effects and such also prevents the problem of drawing children to the bathroom to play. If you're anything like me, the bathroom just doesn't feel like the cleanest place in the house no matter how much it is cleaned. ;)
...

I bought these for my second child and I LOVE these bottles!!! They are quite durable despite them being glass. They have dropped a time or two on the mall floor and have not shattered. I have them in the 9 ounce size and the 5 ounce size. The only time they have broken on me is with an extreme temperature change. I would recommend these over ANY other bottles. They are VERY inexpensive compared to Born Free and Dr. Browns bottles. I have only a couple of compaints with them, 1) When you are trying to mix formula in them it usually makes a mess because they are not very wide at the top....HOWEVER, the benefit of the size of the cap is that the bottle cap and nipple can be put on a Gerber juice bottle. It's great! 2) The glass gets hot to the touch right out of the warmer and you have to give it a minute before giving to your baby so that they don't get burned. The latter is pretty much common sense for all bottles though.

Overall this is a very "green" product and...
...

I bought this highchair and it has been really great. The ONLY complaint that I have with it is that one of the first times I used it, my son got spaghetti sauce on the pad and it permanently stained it. I contacted the company and they sent me a new pad immediately. If you are as anal as I am about things you would be annoyed about having a permanent stain but thankfully the company rectified the situation.
...
