AutumnDM says "A Whole Lotta Lattes; Loving That I Can Espresso Myself" about Mr. Coffee Steam Espresso and Cappuccino Maker - ECM91

I love lattes and have been thinking about buying the Mr. Coffee Espresso Maker for some time. When I saw that this machine just went on sale for $29.99, I gave in to the urge to own one.

I love the compact size and design of my new Mr. Coffee Espresso Maker. It does not take up a lot of counter space.

This machine is actually very easy to use making it ideal for anyone who is considering purchasing a machine like this. It is much more "user friendly" than I anticipated. It requires very few steps, from start to finish, to brew yourself the perfect latte or cappacino.

Simply add the required amount of coffee grounds to the metal filter, pour the needed amount of water into the water reservoir, and turn the dial to "brew." At this point, you will actually hear the "steam" as the water forces itself down through the grounds, and your "shot" of espresso is released into the coffee carafe. This done, it is time now to steam your milk for your latte.

This step is actually fun! The milk is steamed...
...

AutumnDM says "My Back and My Hips Love the Hip Hugger" about Rubbermaid Hip Hugger Laundry Basket

I love to hang my laundry outdoors to dry! To me, the actual process of hanging my laundry on the clothesline is very relaxing and I choose to do so whenvever the weather is permitting. I really welcome this quiet, early morning time; it is so peaceful!

Unfortunately, wet laundry is very heavy. And, it is even heavier yet when the load must be carried up a whole flight of stairs from the laundry room to the main floor. Then, transported again from the main floor to the outdoors. Using a standard laundry basket was definitely becoming out of the question because it puts so much strain on my back.

A friend actually told me about the Rubbermaid Hip Hugger Laundry Basket and recommended it. I now own one and must say that I will never want to use a standard laundry basket again. The Hip Hugger rests snugly and gently against my hip. It's design means that there is much less strain on my back and on my body in general. And, it's large capacity means I can carry a load of wash all in one trip.
...

AutumnDM says "Tomorrow May Never Come .... Live For Today!" about The Bucket List

Life is a gift and that is why they call it (a) the present! The "Bucket List" is one movie that really makes the viewer question his/her own mortality. This movie is a real "eye-opener" and that is exactly why I went to see it. I was not disappointed. In fact, I recommend that everyone see this movie. It may very well be just "the ticket" you need to get your own life in order, whatever that may mean to you.

For myself, this movie really hit home. I lost my best friend to terminal cancer three years ago. On October 14, 2007, my twenty-nine year old niece, Adina, passed. She had fought a long and hard battle with acute leukemia. Adina left behind a husband and a baby boy, Benjamin. Benjamin was a year old in July, 2007. Adina's life touched all who knew her because she battled her illness with a smile on her face and a zest for living! Her own battles taught us all how to live life to the fullest. Oh, how she would have laughed at Edward and Carter!

Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman...
...

AutumnDM says "An Angelic Voice Caresses Your Soul" about Alison Krauss - A Hundred Miles or More: A Collection

I was first "introduced" to Alison Krauss when she was around sixteen years of age. It was at an outdoor Bluegrass festival in Zimmerman, Minnesota. I remember this concert very well. And, I remember how this beautiful, talented, young girl captivated her audience as we listened in awe to her play her fiddle. Her talent was truly an inspiration to all who heard her play; her energy and her passion for her music was apparent in her ability to "WOW" her audience beyond their wildest expectations!

She was a remarkable fiddler and her music made my heart want to dance, but her angelic voice had the ability to do so much more! Truly, her voice was that of an angel and to hear her sing was most uplifiting, as I felt her voice caress my very soul! I remember that day telling my husband that "This young lady is going places!" I never forgot her.

"A Hundred Miles or More" is compiled of 16 different selections. You will hear several duets. I think the best known song is "Whiskey Lullaby,"...
...

AutumnDM says "Can You Hear the Echo of Tears On Brokeback Mountain?" about Brokeback Mountain

First, I want to thank the courageous producers and actors for bringing such a meaningful and heartfelt story of enduring, "forbidden" love before the eyes of the American public. This movie reminds me of one of my favorite songs, "Open the Eyes of My Heart (Lord)." It really "tugs at the heartstrings" of the viewer and leaves us wondering how we could have been so blind for so long! With eyes wide open now, we can no longer ignore the echo of the trail of tears that flow down from Brokeback Mountain!

This gripping and powerful love story takes place in Wyoming where two men are hired to herd sheep on Brokeback Mountain. The two cowboys spend an entire summer isolated from all other contact with society. During their months of loneliness and isolation, they become increasingly dependent on one another. They bond emotionally and physically. It is a bond that lasts a lifetime.

Each of the two men tries to get on with his own life, marrying, and leading a lifestyle that is expected and accepted...
...

AutumnDM says "A Family "Gem," Delightfully Golden" about Golden Retriever Dog Breed

My own life has been greatly enriched by having the priviledge of owning such a highly intelligent, and genuinely loving dog! Actually, I have owned one purepred Golden, named Shiloh. I have also enjoyed the long-lasting companionship of a neighborhood Golden, named Jake. Currently, I have a Goden Retriever, Yellow-Lab mix, named Autumn. Each of these fine friends has greatly enriched my own life and the lives of all who have loved them.

Shiloh lived to be 13 1/2 years of age. We got her as a puppy when the kids were little. She loved my kids and my kids loved her! She loved all kids, so much that she actually boarded the school bus one day! Oh, boy, she was quite the hit! We have all heard about "Mary's Little Lamb," following her to school one day. Well, Jeffrey and Trevor can relate very well to what it feels like to be so greatly loved and adored by one's pet! Thankfully, the school bus driver, Shirley, thought very highly of this pet and got quite a chuckle out of Shiloh's devotion...
...

AutumnDM says "With Slimfast, There is No Skipping Breakfast For Me!" about The Slimfast Diet

Breakfast is the most important meal of your day! Sadly, too many of us neglect to fuel our bodies with much needed nutrition and energy to start the day. Slim-fast Optima is a delicious and highly nutritious solution for those mornings when you just don't have time to eat a hearty breakfast! And, at only 180 calories per can, it is a sensible supplement for anyone who is trying to lose weight. Slim-fast shakes taste best served chilled, so you'll want to be sure to keep a few in your refrigerator. Each shake provides your body with 100% of your daily requirement of vitamin C, 50% of your daily calcium requirement and many other vitamins and minerals as well. An added plus is the 5 grams of daily fiber that is in each shake! It is very effective at getting the "action" started to keep your "plumbing" regular! My favorite flavor is the French vanilla; it tastes just like a rich vanilla shake! I also like the chocolate shake on occasion. I highly recommend this product as either a meal......

AutumnDM says "Run Dust Bunnies, Run!" about Swiffer Duster®

Those "Dust Bunnies: don't stand a chance with the Swiffer Duster around my house! I was first introduced to this wonderful product a couple of years ago while working retail. I was SO impressed with it that I bought a Swiffer Duster for my own personal use at home. I have never used any duster that even comes close to the performance of this handy little gadget! The Swiffer Duster far exceeded my expectations in that it "grabs hold" of even the tiniest little dust particles and "traps" the particles within its individual fiber "fingers." These "sticky fingers" hold on tight to the dust, not allowing those "little bunnies" to escape. Dusting is not the dreaded job it used to be, because the dust STAYS PUT on the duster itself. I suffer from allergies and this method of dusting is far more "user friendly" and much easier on my nose and my eyes. I don't have to deal with the cloudy haze of dust floating through the air every time I dust. The swiffer duster uses disposable "sleeves" that easily...
...

I was introduced to the taste of Wild Vines Blackberry Merlot about three years ago on a camping trip. We were sitting by the campfire and a friend of mine offered me a glass of her wine.I had never had blackberry wine and I absolutely loved it! The rest is history and the Wild Vines Blackberry Merlot has been one of my favorite wines ever since! This wine is exceptionally good because it is neither too dry or too sweet. It has a very light, refreshingly crisp flavor. I have shared this wine with quite a few others and it has fast become a favorite of both my mother and my daughter-in-law. Now when we go on a camping trip, we usually have several bottles of this wine along. We do enjoy other varieties of Wild Vines wines from time to time, but this one is our overall favorite. This wine is so good, a bottle "disappears" much too quickly!...

Who says "sugar free" can't taste good? That's the question I asked my husband who is always skeptical about eating foods that are "low-fat" or "sugar free." I started buying the Sugar Free Jell-o Creamy Caramel Pudding Snacks several months ago. Now, it has become one of our favortie snacks to pack in our lunches. I've decided maybe the best approach in the future is to not even tell him that a particular food is "low-fat" or "sugar free." Anyway, he was pleasantly surprised at how rich and creamy this snack is! This product is available in a pack of six individual pudding "cups." It contains no preservatives and is sweetened with Splenda. Having only 60 calories per snack, this pudding has 40% fewer calories than the regular pudding so you won't have to feel guilty whenever your "sweet tooth" leads you astray! I purchased this snack at Target in the refrigerated section.Try it; I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Both my husband and myself love to garden. Some years ago, he came home with a product called "Miracle Grow" and we have continued to use it ever since. This product is by far the BEST product you will ever find for giving your flower beds and vegetable gardens the extra "boost" they really love. The rewards of using "Miracle Grow" are many. Through regular use of this product, you will find that your plants are always the very best that they can be. The added nutrients supply your flowers with that extra dose of TLC (tender loving care) that makes your flowers more brilliant in color and more resistant to disease.
Let the Sun Shine In! That's how I feel when I read "Guideposts." This magazine is an inspiration for living each day to the fullest! I like to read it in the morning before I start my day to ensure that my day begins on a "positive note." Here, you can read about how others have overcome physical limitations, simply by focusing on their abilites and by having faith that allows them to become the best that they can be. You can share in heart-warming stories about modern day medical miracles and the impact they have had on others. Find out how you, too, can make a difference in the life of another human being by using your God-given talents to reach out to others. I use stories from "Guideposts" as topics for discussion when I go to visit my "less-enabled," wheel-chair bound friends, in their home. I really do believe that the toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis are jeopardizing our health and making us sick! Method Daily Shower Cleaner is made from natural ingredients that clean your shower without leaving you gasping for air from toxic fumes. It's fresh scent is not over-powering and you can be assured that there is no toxic residue left lingering in your home when you use this product.

I drink milk, and I also drink soy milk. My favorite brand of soy milk is Silk and my favorite flavor is the Silk Vanilla Soy Milk. It tastes great alone or poured on my cereal in the morning. I have to admit, the first time I tried soy milk I was rather skeptical. Now, I have learned to love it (vanilla flavor) and buy it several times a month. I also like the chocolate flavor. However, the plain Silk Soy Milk is not high on my list of favorites.
...

AutumnDM says "Based On a Special Encounter With Jesus" about Love Without End, Jesus Speaks

"Love Without End, Jesus Speaks," is perhaps the most powerful book I have ever read!

I found this book quite accidently, just doing some research online on spirituality, Jesus Christ, and overall "soul-searching." It is a best-selling true story written by a well-known artist who was a scholar of Medieval Christian art. The author, Glenda Green, is an educator by profession (having taught at two major universities) and an internationally known portrait artist.

On November 23, 1991 Jesus appeared to Glenda; his intentions were to use her talents to paint a new portrait of him. From the date he first appeared, until the painting was completed on March 12, 1992, Jesus visited with Glenda frequently. He shared practical messages with her regarding life as we live it and clarified many of the doubts we have regarding who we are and what our purpose here on earth is.

Jesus's primary message here: "YOU ARE LOVE! All things manifest by the power of love." This book will open your eyes like they...
...

AutumnDM says "Great, Roomy, Ride" about Pontiac Aztek - 2002

I own a 2001 Pontiac Aztek. I purchased it used in 2002. This is really a very good vehicle overall. It rides well, is very roomy, and it has been dependable. There is lots of storage room in the back. It even has a cargo net that I use to keep my gear from shifting around and becoming disorganized. My vehicle can with a tent that attaches to the back of the car. It is most unusual! To use the tent, you can either fold the back seats forward or take them out. Then, you lift the back hatch. The hatch remains open. The tent is fastened up and over the hatch and around the wheel wells of the car. It is incredibly roomy! It even came with an inflatable air mattress and a mini air compressor! We have two dogs who travel with my hubby and myself. One is a lab and the other is a springer/poodle mix. This vehicle is roomy enough for them to ride along in comfort. One downfall with the Aztek is the rear window. It is very high and designed so that the visibility leaves much to be desired, especially...
...

AutumnDM says "My Searching Helps Others In Need" about GoodSearch

What a wonderful way to help with much needed funding and contributions to a charity of your choice! The best part is, that it does not require that you do anything different than what you are ALREADY doing .... Searching for Information! Many of our favorite charities rely heavily on individual contributions in order that they may fund much needed research and/or funding to those in need. I get personal satisfaction knowing that when I use Goodsearch to get the information I need, I am contributing to the charity of my choice! My precious 29 year old niece died this past October 14th, after a four and 1/2 year battle with acute leukemia. She left a 15 month old baby behind to be raised by Dad. As heartbreaking as this is, I know I can continue to make a difference in her honor. You, too, CAN MAKE a DIFFERENCE; the charity is up to you to choose!
...
