So I'm noticing as I get older, keeping thin is getting harder and harder. I used to snack on anything and everything that tasted good and could still walk the beach with confidence. Those days are definately gone!! The easiest way to transition from eating what you want to eating what you need is finding something that tastes great, and will fill you up enough to stop thinking about it. — It sounds crazy, but Quaker Rice Cakes are great to start with when changing the way you eat. I have been eating them for so long I now choose them over any other cookies or chips. I'm a bit of a "cheesy" girl so my Quake of choice are the bite sized cheese flavored. I feel like I'm eating cheetos and they are filling. Try them with hummus. For my sweet tooth, I go for the regular size peanut butter or choco chip cakes. Try putting a little bit of peanut butter on one of those before leaving the house in the morning. A...

Austen says "It hurts so good!" about Yogalattes

Ok, so going to the gym is on the same list as "shaving my head" and "trimming my dogs nails". I'll do it if I have to... but I really don't want to. So I have found something that gets me there, but keeps me far away from the sorostitutes and frat boys that hang out around the weights and treadmills. It's called Yogalattes. I also love just plain Pillates. I started taking a class after work, and some saterdays and love it! — During the class, you feel relaxed, limber and calm. After the class my body ached so much I felt like I had been doing some hard core training. My abs hurt so much, I couldn't even sneeze without moaning! I want to recomend this class to anyone who doesn't like breaking a sweat at the gym or running outside. It keeps the body in shape and the mind relaxed to face the stressful times in your life. — ...

This Place is a gem. Nestled off the road off of a sand path right in between water and marsh. It's a small inn overlooking Shem Creek that truly makes you fell welcome and comfortable. The staff is small and very friendly, and the rooms are spacious and clean. — There are a few bars and restaurants all around the water that are all walking distance making it convenient to go out for drinks and walk/stumble back to the inn. The cabana bar next to the pool is the best place to lay back and have a little "hair of the dog" and get some sun. — So if your looking for a place to get the beautiful views of Charleston and have a relaxing fun time, this is it. — ...
