Angelicatt says "Always yummy in the tummy" about Harry & David's Gift Baskets

The first time I went to a Harry & David store, it was like being in a grandmother's kitchen - full of wonderful smells and smiling faces and always little tidbits of food with the words " try it, you'll love it". I think I spent over a $100 that first trip with a promise to return but I moved after that and there was no store close by, so I jumped online and started buying my supplies..it became a regular thing to buy some stuff for me and at least 1 gift basket. I look forward to the holidays because I love dropping hints about my desire for Moose Munch and all the relishes. I'm a huge fan of the Fruit of the Month and while the baskets are a little pricey - they are definitely a fun present and the fresh fruit is definitely worth the price...the quality is awesome. —...

Angelicatt says "Requiem for the best 7 book series ever" about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

It's been so hard to say goodbye to a character that has captured my heart and imagination for the last 5 years. I have to admit honestly, I bought the first 4 books and didn't read them until book 5 came out. I initially thought that it was going to be too childish but I got them anyway because I like collecting books. It took watching the 1st movie on Netflix to get me hooked - so during a week off from school, I sat down and read the first 5 from cover to cover non-stop. I was in love and upset and frustrated and lost in the world of Harry Potter, it was as if every time I read the pages, I was somehow transported into the book watching and hearing every thing from a distance. So the anticipation for the last book was overwhelming and when the time came to sit and read it, I made sure the phones were turned off, the lights were off and I had a box of tissues handy. The beginning of the book seemed to drag on a little long and my frustration grew because I thought JK was trying to...

Angelicatt says "Scrub a dub dub" about LUSH

— When I lived in NY, I rarely frequented the malls but on a rare trip to Queen's Mall, I came upon LUSH and went in to see what it was all about, thinking it was just a rip on Body Shop but it's so not. The staff was friendly and happy to let me sample a lot of the different soaps and powders. They even gave me a little hand demo which a the clincher. I ended buying a couple different soaps, one for the difficult areas on the butt and hips (Buffy) and one for a sensitive face (Aquamarina). That was over 3 years ago and I have been a fan ever since... They work great and I don't need to buy any other face creams or lotions with these in my arsenal. They might look a little weird but they work and they are extremely environmentally and animal-free friendly. —...
