AmyA says "Fresh made natural pet treats at "Two Paws Up"" about two Paws Up

While attending our Octoberfest here in Appleton's down town area I found a fun store for pets and what it was is a pet bakery. — Two paws upis a pet bakery that makes fresh made, all natural pet treats and some are not the plain old dull treats for dogs, cats or horses. They even have other goodies and services for pets. Reiki (which is a natural healing process they do), Essential oils, Raindrop therapy treatment classes for pet parents to give to their dogs and horses. They also offer pet training classes too. — It was a fun store to walk into because it was even set up like a bakery and so many items that I knew were going to be healthy for my girls (da cats). The service was very friendly and I was even greeted by their three loving dogs who really know how to smooze a customer. — If you can't make it to Appleton WI you can visit their website and check out all the neat stuff they...

AmyA says "I am in love with the Captian with the taste of Passion " about Captain Morgan Parrot Bay Wave Runner

Yes, Captain Morgan has me again with Parrot Bay "Wave Runner".This malt beverage infuses Captain Morgan with real fruit juices and in the Wave Runner it is infused with passion fruit and mango. — I didn't think I would like this one with the mango in it (not a big mango fan), but this really is a refreshing beverage. Not super sweet, just right. This one is my husbands favorite and I would say is my second top flavor of the Captain Morgan Parrot Bay malt beverages. — Can you taste the rum? No, so beware, Wave Runner contains 5% alcohol and with this being the type where you can't taste the alcohol...it will sneak up and bite ya in the butt if you don't watch it. — Great infused flavors of passion fruit and mango fused with Caption Morgan rum is a winner! Great for cook outs, picnics or just kicking back on a hot summers day...It's hot out there today and we are cooling off with Wave Runner...It's a fun name too...don't you think? — Remember:...

AmyA says "Mega control for those curly locks and then some" about L'Oreal Tightly Wound - Curl Boosting spray gel

Some-days I think my hair is just naturally frizzy and I can use all the help I can get. Many years ago Loreal came out with a curl booster and it worked great and I have been searching for it for some time now and just couldn't find it. On my quest to find that product I came across a new product by Loreal called Studio Tightly Wound Curl Boosting Curl Spray gel. — It does perk up the curls and keeps them in line very nicely, but I did have an issue with it leaving my hair to crunchy. So I emptied some of the gel (about two table spoons) out and mixed it with water and I like it better. I have baby fine hair and without the water in it, it was weighing the old locks down. — The plus side it that is does hold my curls in place even on the most humid days and I am happy about that. It even gives my curls a boost for pretty ringlets and since the front of my hair is still trying to get caught up as far as turning curly (just a...

I love sunless tanning product and also love to give them a try so see if they hold up to the claim. — The new sunless tanning product I am trying is New from Neutrogena. I must say I am very impressed. Neutrogena Sun Fresh Sunless tanning foam. — It is a foam with a grapefruit/nectarine scent which I prefer over the coconut smell of others and being a foam it goes on very light and trust me this doesn't clog the pours. Yeah I am nuts I buy it and put it right on my face to test it. — I purchased the fair to medium skin tone formula and with in two hours you can see it working. A very nice even, natural color. — Tips for sunless tanning: —...

Oh, while surfing today I stumbled upon a fun website yearbookyourself.com. — This is a website that you upload your picture into and you can see what your yearbook picture would look liked from 1950 to the year 2000. It is a SCREAM, A Blast, Totally cool, Far out, and DA Bomb. — It is a very easy site to use and it has adjustment controls so your picture is sitting just right. The outcome are some of the pictures shown with my mug. This site works for both men and women so why not have a laugh and play a little. It's FREE. — I did one with Scrappy's picture and it kinda freaked me out, but pets are fun to have in here too. — Can you guess the years?...

As I get older my hair is getting curlier (strange, but true). I also have issues with frizz and it drives me nuts. — I have been using TRESemme Flawless Curls - Curl Definition shape and shine Jelly and I must say it does do the trick. I am not sure why they call it a jelly because it comes out like a cream form, but thicker. — I used a less then a dime size (my hair is thin too and I don't like to wiegh it down). Rub my hands together and smooth all over my hair (inner layers too) when my hair is towel dried. — It really keeps my frizzies away all day and it leaves my hair soft and not tacky, but holds and gives my curls definition (Loving It!). — It's nice to see my Roseanne Roseanne Danna hair has calmed down :) — ...

I was driving home from the bank when I noticed my vet was having an adopt-a-thon. I saw signs that said kittens and puppies and I thought I would just go LOOK. HA. — I saw a cute little Tortie cat that reminded me of my Scrappy when she was a kitten. They made it a must for me to hold this kitten and hook, line and Oh wait, have to call the hubby...sinker. He said he didn't care and since it was my vet holding this little party I got to take this little bundle of fur joy home right away. — Hubby and I thought she was cute, but my fur ball Scrappy was not pleased AT ALL! Growling, hissing, smacking me...there was nothing going to make Scrappy happy. I cried the next day, all day because Scrap didn't want anything to do with me and she was very stressed. — I remember seeing a cat doctor show, saying to use a spray with simulated pheromones, which clams cats after about 5 min or so. So remembering this...

Oh the old liquid white out and I never got along. I would get it everywhere, all over the paper, my hands, jeans you name it I will get it on something, because I am just to impatient to wait for it to dry. — I was happy to see Bic came out with correction help that comes in tape form.
Years of camping and sleeping on the ground has gotten to me. I have turned into a wimp...I like comfort and I think the camping gods heard me when I told my husband I wanted to get one. — A week later our neighborhood had our annual rummage sale and the retired female cop down the hall was selling her camping stuff. What did I see? A brand new Coleman queen sized air mattress (thank you camping gods) $15 and it was mine. I even bought the Coleman air pump too that was battery operated. — I thought just in case it didn't work I would blow it up the night before we left for camping. IT WORKED!!! No more hard, lumpy, cold ground for this little camper. Nope, no way. — I got it all set up at camping and couldn't wait to go to bed after sitting around the camp fire the first night. — It was so comfy, so wonderful and I slept right through both nights...My husband didn't even say anything that I bought it...Guess...

It was time to go camping again and after last year and no shower (showers were a 20 min drive) I thought I would be prepared this year. I didn't want to spend a lot since is was a once a year thing and while at Mill's Fleet Farm I found a Reliance Solar Spray 5 gal portable shower. — Looks just like the semi clear collapsible water tote only in a black polyethylen plastic. It also comes with a "S" hook and rope for easy hanging (for one of the men in camp to hang...I couldn't lift it over my head with it filled with water) and a large shower head with a flexible hose with a shut off valve. — When sitting in the nice hot Sun for 2 and a half hours it can heat up to 100 F. It did heat up pretty nice and it was very refreshing. — I was a little bummed that I couldn't take full advantage of this product (I couldn't get any of the men of the camp to help me get this to hang from a tree. So I...

First of all let my take you back to when I first moved up to NE Wisconsin. — We were settled in and I thought I would check out my new neighborhood and transportation of choice were my roller skates (the old tennis shoe looking skate). My husband said "you don't know how to skate". I said "it's like riding a bike and a piece of cake" HA. — I was doing pretty good out there until I found myself on a small decline. I was starting to pick up speed and then I thought to myself "how the heck do I stop on these things"? Yeah, It just wasn't coming to me and all I could do before I hit the intersection that was coming up was to wipe out and I did such a great job of that (no one saw me). Well I had blood running down my leg, thought I broke my wrist and my ankle (still no one saw me fall). I started to take my skates off and noticed the stopper in the front of the skate and it came back to me on how to stop (great...

When by my sister in laws home, my hubby wanted to grill over the fire pit and well we didn't have a tri pod grill so we kinda rigged one up. The ribs only fell in once with our rigged grate, but a little rinse with water and all good. (outdoor cooking...always have a hose or a clean bucket of water, just in case and don't tell anyone :) — After trial and error we broke down and bought a MidWest Wire Product Insta Tripod Grill. What a wonderful little grill. It is easy to put together, sturdy when the food is on it and has an adjustable setting grip. Light weight too. The tripod can be used over charcoal or a wood fire. We took it camping with us and my husband was having a blast (big size kid on Christmas day). Remember it's a tripod and it will rock so remember not to load the food to one side or you will have food falling off of it. (we didn't have that happen YIPPY!) — The one down fall is when it is put...

Every year when we go camping the biggest gripe is with the coffee drinkers with the camping coffee perculators and all the grounds that get into the coffee. — We have a friend that is a "Buckhorn" (shows and lives how the first settlers lived and survived off the land) and loves to rough it except with his coffee and showed us Maxwell House Filter Packs. Ground coffee in nifty sealed filters. They fit perfect where you normally put the lose ground coffee in the peculator and no worries of eating your coffee grounds. — My husband was amazed, not only with the filter packs, but with the taste too.
Did you ever have one of those days where you were so stressed out that all you wanted to do when you got home was to get your jammies on, flip on the TV and sit down with a container of your favorite ice cream and just relax? — I have been having a few days like that, but didn't want to pound down a quart of ice cream. It turns out a little will do ya and Ben and Jerry's has a cute 3.6 ounce little container of of great tasting ice cream that hits the spot and not your hips (well if you eat 10 tubs might change that teehee). — This is a teeny tiny container of ice cream and it even comes with a little spoon in the cover so you can dig right in. I never tried Ben and Jerry's before, but the cute size caught my eye and I had fun buying cookie dough and chocolate fudge brownie and asking the lady next to me that was looking at me funny "aren't these the cutest?" (in a squeeky voice). For some...

AmyA says "Captian Morgan did it again with Sunset Surf - Fer sure Dudes" about Captain Morgan Parrot Bay Sunset Surf

Another great malt beverage from Captain Morgan Parrot Bay is Sunset Surf. Light refreshing pineapple and orange. Kind of reminds me of a orange drink with pineapple and has a little kick. — Captain Morgan infuses their rum with natural flavors of nature and this is a very refreshing drink. Nice to pour into a chilled glass with a slice of orange or pineapple or both for a garnish in the glass to kick it up a notch. Thinking about it a bit of banana would good too in this. — Captain Morgan Parrot Bay comes in a six pack for around $6.99. They also have other flavors to tease your taste buds. "Mojito" (lime and mint), "Pineapple Colada" (pineapple and coconut), "Matava Blue" (berry and kiwi) and "Wave Runner" (passion fruit and mango). This is a malt beverage with 5% alcohol. — Please remember Do not drink and drive! —...

AmyA says "I think Captain Morgan is getting fresh with me with his Majito" about Captain Morgan Parrot Bay Mojito

My husband Bob and I were at his sister's over the Forth of July weekend and I wasn't in a beer mood so my brother in law showed me their new find. Captain Morgan Parrot Bay Mojito and let me tell you this is one very refreshing drink. A nicer blend then the old simple wine cooler. — Picture Captain Morgan infused with lime and a hint of mint, chilled to perfection and you have a wonderful drink. I don't taste the Captain Morgan, but the combination is very good. I was very iffy when I saw the bottle because I am not a Captain Morgan rum drinker, but I am very happy I gave it a try. Cool and refreshing on a hot summers day by the grill, around the fire pit or by pool side (tried all places and worked well :) — They also have other flavors to tease your taste buds. "Sunset Surf "(orange and pineapple), "Pineapple Colada" (pineapple and coconut), "Matava Blue" (berry and kiwi) and "Wave Runner" (passion...
