Amy says "A fun, sporty SUV for cost-conscious buyers." about Mitsubishi Endeavor 2005

My husband researches every purchase he makes, so you can imagine the process we go through when purchasing a new car. We are also on a budget and unable to buy a true "luxury" car. After test driving every single mid-size SUV on the market, we decided to purchase the Mitsubishi Endeavor. We love our Endeavor. It boasts 225 horsepower, AWD and a 6 cylinder engine. It has the storage capacity of bigger SUV's, but is much sportier and fun to drive than similar makes and models. We have a moonroof and the cold winter package (even with cloth seats) which are both spectacular. We also found the Mitsubishi dealerships much more pleasant to deal with than some of the others. At Mitsubishi, they did not have a "take it or leave it" attitude that we found at more popular dealerships. The 3 year warranty covers oil changes, routine maintenance and any issues that arise.

One big drawback that is not unique to the Mitsubishi SUV is poor gas mileage. They also claim it requires the...

Amy says "Big price tag for small sizes" about Olian Maternity Clothes

As a pre-pregnancy size 0 devoted to fashion, one of my many concerns about being pregnant was maternity clothing. I had trouble finding clothing, especially pants, that fit me prior to being pregnant, so what was I going to wear now? Olian was the answer. While Olian is a bit pricy considering the (thankfully) limited amount of time you'll be wearing maternity clothing, the fit, quality and style are above average.

Unfortunately, if you do not live in a big city, Olian can be hard to find as it tends to be carried only in boutique maternity shops. Also, Olian is many times more expensive than maternity clothing at bigger retail stores. Sometimes you can find it used on auction websites, if you want the brand without the price tag.

I did purchase a couple of Olian tops, which were wonderful, but overall not worth the cost. I saved my money for well-fitting pants and am glad I found Olian. ...

Amy says "You'll look forward to running if you own this skirt." about Nike New Adventure Running Skirt

You don't have to be a fashionista to look like one. I am a casual runner who has happened to run four marathons. I enjoy running, but sometimes need that extra bit of motivation to get out the door. The Nike New Adventure Running Skirt does the trick every time.

For years I have worn "standard" running attire - shorts and a t-shirt or running shirt. But then, I heard about running skirts. At first I had trouble locating the Nike skirt and bought skirts from two other companies. They were adequate, but I kept looking for the Nike one. The buying process could have been problematic considering shipping, uncertainty regarding size (Nike tends to run small), and uncertainty about product quality. Despite the fairly high price ($60), the skirt did not disappoint.

Though the skirt is a bit mini, there is a "hidden" biking short underneath, so you don't have to worry about being covered. The dri-fit fabric breathes well and doesn't get heavy or cling to your legs. There is...
