Aleene617 says "A decent place to eat but not a favorite" about Claddagh Irish Pub - Lansing, MI

I went here and had the fish and chips last time. There were not too bad but they along with the sides were nothing special for the price, they would have been better priced a few dollars less. The décor was cute but felt fairly mass produced like a Bennagins or Applebees. Then again I've actually been to Ireland and the food was not that great so I suppose this is fairly authentic. I do have to give them some credit for having more adventurous choices on the menu and only Americanizing the selections to some degree. Overall if you are in the area shopping it is a good selection but not the type of restaurant you would pick for a special celebration. —...

Aleene617 says "Good if you are looking for a deal" about Hotwire.com

This can be a great alternative in the right situation. For example I wouldn't use hotwire for a honeymoon since you have no control over where you get and it is non refundable so that is a case where it is worth it to spent a little extra to have control of where you end up. If you are looking for a quick get away or have a busy trip and are a flexible, easygoing person this can be a great deal. We got a fantastic deal last time on a very large room and could not have been more pleased. Some cities/dates I've noticed that it isn't that significant of savings. Make sure you check comparable websites with discounts that tell you where you are staying since you need to be getting a good enough deal to make the idea of going in blind worth it. I've never used it for anything other than a hotel but I've heard good things about using it for a car. —...

Aleene617 says "Pretty but not overpowering" about Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea Body Splash

I am someone who is very scent sensitive so there are quite a few scents at bath and body works that I just do not like but I became a fan once I tried this scent. It is very feminine and pretty but you don't feel like you are wearing cheap perfume. I am not a girly girl but it is nice to add that extra touch once in awhile, my only complaint would be sometimes too much comes out, I wish there was a better control but again since it is very light it isn't that big of deal. I would actually recommend any products in this line, a great gift idea when you don't know what scent to buy. —...

Aleene617 says "You can't beat free" about My Coke Rewards

My theory on Coke Rewards is "hey it is free". The prizes aren't that great unless you collect coke merchandise but there are a few things worthwhile here and there. It just takes a couple seconds to enter a code and if you are already buying coke it is worthwhile. I would not count on getting the top prizes since they are pretty unobtainable in terms of points but if you like free stuff it is legit and not a scam like some things so go ahead sign up, enter codes when you can, and have fun getting free stuff in the mail every few months depending upon how much you drink. —...

Aleene617 says "Adventure is the right name for this ship" about Royal Caribbean - Adventure of the Seas

This was my fourth cruise (third different cruiseline) and I could not be more pleased with the cruise. I always make my decision based upon itinerary and I was pleased with most of the ports. Curacao did not have too much to offer but I know that it makes sense to stop there after Aruba. The ship itself was beautiful, even though this is a mega ship you often wondered where the other 3,000 or so people were at since other than the pool area while "at sea" you never felt very crowded. Plenty of stuff to keep you busy on the ship, I almost missed out on rock climbing since I didn't have enough time to do everything. Food was great as always, though I have very simple tastes so you may or may not agree if you are a true foodie. The room was of course small but they did their best to provide the space saving features to make it all work. The only downside besides going home was all the extras, but this is the case with any cruise; you just have to be careful that...
