      <title>Abby says &quot;Proceed With Caution&quot; about Whirlpool Duet - Washer Dryer</title>

      <description>I bought my duet set about a year and a half ago.&#160;&#160; In the third week of operation, one of the agitator blades on the side of the washer drum broke off!&#160; I'm not rough on things.&#160; In fact, I was putting in less than the recommended&#160;capacity of laundry.&#160; The automated repair line for Whirlpool was awful.&#160; It was going to take something like 3 weeks for someone to come out.&#160; So, three weeks after spending $1,000 on a washer, I had to drag all my laundry to the laundromat!&#160; Frustrated, I called Lowes, where I purchase the LEMON and they kindly took it away and replaced it with a new one.&#160; About 6 months into the second one, the washer somehow inhaled a pair of underwear.&#160; That's right, underwear was sucked into a tube somehow and stopped everything up.&#160; (More trips to the laundromat while waiting for repair.)&#160; &lt;strong&gt;Pros&lt;/strong&gt;:&#160; Very quiet, clothes come out clean&#160; &lt;strong&gt;Cons&lt;/strong&gt;:&#160; Very long cycles, seems to break down easily, long waits for repair service, clothes get all tangled up (ie: pant legs...... </description>
