ALittle717 says "Works great and leaves my hair silky smooth" about John Frieda Night Creme Serum

John Frieda Night Creme Serum is a must have for those of us with dry, frizzy, or over-processed hair. It works wonderfully, and leaves my hair silky, soft, and very manageable. In the last couple years I have gotten cowlicks all over (okay, people say you are born with them....no way! I've never had them until recently!!) and my hair is un-manageable, and frizzy and dry from over processing.

I tried everything- all those expensive, salon, chi-chi, guarantied to work, "wonder" products. None of those did anything. I woke up every morning with scarecrow hair. It was frustrating!

Then I tried this product! Amazing! It does more for my hair than any conditioner, re-constructor, or anti-frizz product out there. I use it on my hair before bedtime and voila!!! I wake up with super-smooth, soft, silky, manageable hair...ready for the day, and ready for any style! Just perfect!

And best of all...it is inexpensive and easy to find.
...

ALittle717 says "A must-see for any Jane Austen fan" about Lost In Austen

Lost in Austen is a wonderful modernisation/spoof of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. It is a must-see for any fan of Austen, the story itself, and especially the 1995 BBC Colin Firth/ Jennifer Ehle mini-series. It is a modern take on the story, with a Amanda Price, a great P&P enthusiast, finding herself in the very real world of Jane Austen's Bennet family. Amanda soon finds herself unintentionally altering events, thereby changing the story itself...but can she fix it in the end? Does she want too?

The movie originally aired as a four-part British TV program and was released on DVD in April 2009 (USA) as a full movie. This new twist on a classic story is both interesting and entertaining...with a unique "insight" into the true nature of all players. The incredible cast includes: Jemima Rooper as Amanda Price; Eliot Cowan as Mr. Darcy; Alex Kingston and Hugh Bonneville as Mrs. and Mr. Bennet; Lindsay Duncan as Lady Catherine de Bourgh; Morven Christie as...
...

ALittle717 says "It really is like spackle for your skin" about Laura Geller Spackle Cream Under Makeup Primer w/Pump, 2 oz.

I was hesitant to try Laura Geller Spackle Cream Under Makeup Primer because people seem to either really love it, or really dislike it. I have extremely problematic skin- scarring, uneven color, blemishes, fine lines....you name it, I have it. I did some research into the product and decided to give it a try. I figured it certainly couldn't hurt.

Well, I have to say, this is an amazing product! The name says it all. It really is like a spackle for your face. My foundation glides on, STAYS ON, and it helps cover all my imperfections, and makes my skin glow. I have gotten so many compliments since I stared using Spackle.

After reading some other users complaints about the product, I have to say two things: 1) Use product sparingly. Using too much would defeat the purpose, and definitely not make it work correctly. 2) Let your skin absorb into your skin before applying your foundation. Again, if you don't I doubt it would work. Follow these, and it is a wonderful,...
...

ALittle717 says "Way too high maintenance and tempermental " about Air-O-Swiss U7142 1.98 Gallon Humidifier

I received the Air-O-Swiss U7142 1.98 Gallon Humidifier as a gift, after a doctor recommended that I start using a humidifier. I live in a dry environment and have sinus problems.

On first glance, the unit looks like Mercedes of humidifiers; it looks high-tech, sleek, and shiny. It worked well in the beginning, but suddenly stopped working all together. The customer service number provided was laughable. I had to give them a lot of personal information and receipt/ purchase information...and they still could not replace the unit. Luckily, the store at which it bought did take it back, and I was given a replacement humidifier.

When it works, it works well. It is extremely quiet and has a nice stream of moisture. You can choose the level of humidity desired (and displays current humidity level), and it has a useful timer option. It is, however, extremely temperamental, and often needs a new filter, new silver ion stick, and need to be cleaned (with Air-O-Swiss...
...

ALittle717 says "Works great, but pricey for what it does" about HoMedics Brethe Air Revitalizer

I got the Homedics Brethe after seeing it in a store display...while being in one of those, "oh why not? I'll try something different" types of moods. I was pleasantly surprised by the product- it really does seems to clean the air in my house. It DEFINITELY gets rid of odors. I enjoyed the scents that came with the machine...vanilla, lime, and citrus. All are good-smelling without being over-whelming. The machine is fairly quiet, and the light-up feature is a nice bonus.

After about a month, I purchased the full size oils, this time lavender and citrus. I was a little surprised at the cost of the scents- about fifteen dollars each. One bottle will last about a month if you use the machine every day.

While this is an innovative, well-working product, it is a little pricey for what it actually accomplishes; the machine itself is approximately $50 dollars, and each scent additive ranges from $10 to $15 dollars.
...
