AGWNGWMOM says "Natural tasting" about PureVia All Natural Zero Calorie Sweetener

PureVia actually tasted better than I thought it would. I have tried low cal orange juice with stevia sweeteners and thought the stevia gave it a bitter taste. However, in my coffee, I do occasionally like sweetener with my cream, milk or white powder. I tried the PureVia in my coffee--unlike splenda where I feel I need 2 packets if I want my coffee sweetened, 1 packet of the PureVia was perfect with no strange aftertaste. I do still need to try PureVia on my yogurt and oatmeal, which is the other food in which I use Splenda quite a bit. That said, I will be definitely using PureVia again.
...

AGWNGWMOM says "Much better than we thought it would be based on the critics" about Monsters vs. Aliens

We went to see this since it was at the dollar theater, and my kids had wanted to see it. We were pleasantly surprised since the critics had tended to pan it. We loved that it had a woman that finds herself and becomes strong in her role, but also that it points to being different can be a good thing. This obviously was the adult story line in the movie, but it was also good fun to watch and we laughed quite a bit as a family at all the gags, etc. My children loved the monsters, all of which were unique. The movie kept moving along and kept our interest as the parents, also, which isn't always easy for an animated movie to do.
...

AGWNGWMOM says "Keeps my son busy for hours" about Tinker Toys Building set

Tinkertoys are a great classic! My son loves these, and we actually have my husband's old set also as well as a new set we bought for my son so he could have more pieces. He loves to construct all sort of things from the wood wheels with spokes, dowels, other plastic connectors. For kids that are into building things, this is something to get them. He never tires of it, and it gets his creativity going. Much better than sitting in front of a computer or television on a rainy day.
...

AGWNGWMOM says "Smooth and creamy" about Mississippi Brewing Company Mississippi Mud

I always surprise people in that I love a good, smooth, not too hoppy/bitter, dark beer. We get the Mississippi Mud at Trader Joe's, and I love it. Smooth, creamy, chocolatey, not bitter, goes down great. It is also not too pricey, which makes it even better.
...

AGWNGWMOM says "Fast but good tex mex" about willy's - Atlanta, GA

Willy's has solidly good tex mex, and they provide service quickly. I especially love their salad and their chips, which are thin and crispy like they should be. The burritos are a bit strange, coming from a person who once lived in Texas, in that they put the rice and beans in the burrito, but you can ask for them on the side. The one thing that annoys me is they have these tiny take out cups to put your salsa in, which hold no more than 2 tablespoons each....they really need bigger cups. I hate that I have to fill 10 of these to have enough salsa when my family does take out or eats in at the restaurant. Other than that, the food is fresh, and the meat spiced well (steak, pork, or chicken). The seating area at the one we go to is a bit small, but clean (Delk Rd). There is another one on Lower Roswell/Johnson's Ferry. It is larger, but portions seem smaller, and it is definitely not as clean. They also do a great catering business--I have loved the food they bring to...
...

AGWNGWMOM says "Love it!" about Olay ProX

Olay ProX night cream--Love the fact that this has no fragrance, is not greasy, goes on well. It does seem to firm my skin. I can't use the top-rated Olay regenerist cream since its fragrance makes me break out so I tried this. It came as part of the starter kit with eye cream and an SPF 30 day lotion also. Both of these also work very nicely in my opinion.
...

AGWNGWMOM says "Great family game for an evening or weekend" about Mexican Train Double 12 Dominoes

This is a great game. In a world of electronic beeps and buzzes, it is refreshing to be able to play a game that doesn't do either. It is a great game for 3 or more people, OK with 2 people. We enjoy playing as a family--my 4 year old son and I usually play as a team and then my dad and my 10 year old daughter are the 2 other individual players. It can take a long time to complete the game (13 rounds if the 12's are used), but you can always decide to call it quits after 1 or more rounds. There are sets of 12 and 15--the 15 is harder, and would be better with more people playing. The object is to make 'trains' of the dominoes you draw, but if you can't, you start new trains if you have the dominoes to do it, or hope you can build on to other trains to avoid making your train a ghost train. Who ever runs out of their tiles first wins the round and collects the points from the other players based on the dominoes they have left. My only other complaint besides the full length......

AGWNGWMOM says "Fantastic knowledge of literature twisted into the most comical" about Thursday Next: First Among Sequels

All the Jasper Fforde books are fantastic. The humor is quirky, and the plots are unique and captivating. Fforde's knowledge of literature has to be tremendous to create the 'Thursday Next' books. The continued ties to the previous books makes having read them a must to enjoy all the facets of the story line in this latest book. I agree with a previous review that this book is a bit slow to start, but once you are in it, it moves just as fast as the others did. If you love clever, whimsical plot lines and word play, I would strongly recommend all of Jasper Fforde's books. I am looking forward to the next 'Thursday Next'!...

This movie was fantastic. The plot is interesting, I certainly didn't guess the ending, and loved the magic. It is better to rent or own, so you can re-review the ending and get all the bits that flash by tying it all together. Poor boy and rich girl are in love, rich family tears them apart, poor boy makes good but evil man already in line to marry rich girl, poor boy gets girl in the end. It is a more realistic, darker 'Princess Bride'....

AGWNGWMOM says "Horrible customer service if you live in Atlanta" about Delta Airlines

Delta really doesn't care for the people that travel out of Atlanta since it knows it has a captive market. I have been shut out of flights, treated rudely despite Platinum status on business travel overseas because I wasn't a million miler. It is the only airline I travel overseas on that I can not check in online for an overseas flight and you are held to checking in at the airport. They are very uncaring of their elite customers in the Atlanta area, unless you are a million miler. My brother and his friends have different experiences out of the NYC area, though, flying Delta. Possibly because they have a lot of competition there and very little for no stop/connection overseas flights in the Atlanta area....

AGWNGWMOM says "Flexibility of rewards is great and so is gold SPG status" about American Express - Starwood Hotels Credit Card

As per the frequent flyer gurus, this is a great card for someone who loves to travel. You earn extra points if you use this at starwood properties. Starwood allows you to transfer the points to airlines and if you transfer 20,000 points usually at a 1:1 mile ratio, you actually get 25,000. I don't pay attention to interest rates since I pay the balance in full each month. Better yet, if you charge a certain amount each year, you automatically qualify for gold starwood preferred guest status, so if you are a business traveler like me, it qualifies you for various perks at the hotels, including extra starwood points for your stay....
