After an extensive search for a quality car that was good on gas for my 110 mile round trip daily comute. I settled on buying a Nissan Versa hatchback for its limited reputation as a quality car at the time as well as the specs that showed it as an fuel-efficient and solid constructed veihichle from appearence.
I purchased my 2008 model Nissan Verssa CVT Hatchback in October of 2009 and extreemely pleased with its nearly 38 mpg that I got in the begining (which fully exceeded the sticker specks on its mile/gallon estimate.
