Southern Illinois University Carbondale
Southern Illinois University at Carbondale is a 4 year public university located in Southern Illinois. Besides the quality education that is received at this school, it is surrounded by beautiful lakes, trees, and landscapes! State parks are located within driving distance of the school where you can canoe, hike, or simply find a shady place to study or get away! However, the part I enjoyed the most was that one area of dorms is located on Campus Lake, a nice-sized lake that has its own beach and walking trail! Not only did this provide a beautiful view from the dorms, but also a very scenic...

I am currently a UoP student in the Masters of Management program and I must say it is a great program. Very easy to use their website and the discussions are great. Not a traditional sit in class room time since all is online but overall the experience of online classrooms is great. Mostly all discussion type classrooms and paper assignments.
Michigan State University
The last couple of years have been a long bumpy ride for me, as they have for everyone my age. No matter what, everyone has experienced many of the same "teenage" circumstances as I have and has dealt with them in their own way. As a personal participant in this "game", we call life, I would say I worked hard for and earned first place. That is just my creative view on things. Too bad, not everyone sees it in the same light as I do.
As a student, I am an active participant in my academic and extracurricular activities. My first priority has always been to make good grades and learn in school....
Bowling Green State University-Main Campus

Grand Canyon University - Masters in Education
I recently had the opportunity to take a couple classes with Grand Canyon University. Being a teacher, it was an excellent way to work towards getting the certification that I neede in ESL or English as a second Language. GCU offers the opportunity to work towards getting a master's degree in education from the convenience of your home. The professors at GCU are very easy to contact if there is a question. On many occasions I had a problem with one of my classes and they worked delingently to help me.
A great aspect in pursuing you M.Ed from GCU is that you have the ability to graduate and walk...

I come from a small town in Montana so the opportunity to go to a big school was huge for me. I was anxious to get out and see how other people outside of my little closed off town. I love the fact that I chose to go to the University of Montana where there was plenty of opportunities. I went to college for a degree in Information systems, where I could use my computer skills to use. I was able to work for a tech team and gain valuable experience I needed for the 'real world' I also loved my small business classes, the professor was easily accessible for questions and meetings about papers. ...

When looking for a college I wanted a small school but not one that was a mom and pop school house.
Salem State college was perfect. The one on one help is always there. Students are from every back ground you can think of. The staff are mixed like most school but I have found all of them to be very caring and upbeat. Make no mistake you have to work very hard for your grades here but the reward at the end is well worth it.
The campus is small enough to walk around and there is a bus. However plan your classes because the bus tends to fill up and you will have to wait sometimes 1/2 hour for another...

Our grandson is attending University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, AZ. He came home for the Holidays and we had a chance to spend time with him on Christmas Eve and he had many things that he had recorded on his laptop, so we were able to see exactly what he had been doing since going to UAT in September. We live in Michigan and therefore, he was not able to get home until Christmas, as he has to fly. He really enjoys the school so much and if you are interested in any of the different aspects of computers, this is the school to go to. It is a small school, but our grandson said he...

Emory University
Emory University was a challenging academic university that, in addition to classroom experience, provided cultural and social acitvities that enriched my life. I met people from all over the world with different outlooks and interests. I was able to explore and develop my own opinions and become an independent thinker and mature adult. Atlanta and Decatur provide great back drops for interacting outside the university community. Great theatres, restaurants, shopping, movies, parks, etc.
It was expensive. That is for sure. However, the education and experiences I received were invaluable! I studied...

The University of Phoenix has a great support staff for those students that are attending their on-line classes. They are there 24hrs/7dys for any/all questions a student may have. I've found that just because I'm a 40yr old student they are willing to take the time to explain everything that I ask without hesitation. It's hard for some people to return to school after 20yrs but with UOP they have the understanding that getting an education is very important to some so that they can not only further their education but be able to obtain better jobs once they've completed their degrees. ...
