I took my car to Rainbow Muffler for a simple emissions inspection and sat there for over an hour before I had to ask the young man who was working on my car what was going on. I decided to go back into the work area to see if I could maybe learn a little about the car and why it was failing. That's when I noticed my fiberglass hood was propped up against the wall standing on it's corners (the end nearest the windshield). As he was placing the hood back onto the car I noticed that the hood had cracked at both corners, so i walked up and inspected the damage. He automatically piped up and claimed that he didn't know anything about it and furthermore that he had laid it on the shop floor instead of propping it up so that it wouldn't get blown over. So I brought the car home and showed my husband the damage and he proceeded to call the manager who told him that he had worked on the car for free for an hour and that he wasn't going to do anything about it. So I called and asked for the owner who wasn't in so the manager called me back with the owner, John, home phone number. When I called John he immediately became aggressive and belligerent. Needless to say these people don't own up to their responsibilities or know how to effectively deal with people. They will not be getting my business again.
