I "grew up" in a factory, so the factory life shown in Extract is all too familiar to me. Sure it has stereotypes of those people, but for the most part, that's how it is. Without giving anything away the broken nuts in the picture have to do with the movie and what motivates a lot of the script.

Great characterizations, a hilarious cast and an interesting plot line make this movie a hit. Mike judge is great at taking those average, everyday people and making them caricature's of themselves.

Extract centers around Joel (Jason Bateman) an average guy trying to deal with a myriad of professional and personal problems. His relationship with his wife (Kristen Wigg) is on the outs and he is disenchanted with the day to day of his extract plant.
