The best bottle for older babies is the Podee bottle!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

The first time I saw the Podee bottle, I thought what a strange looking thing this was! There weren't bottles like this when my children were babies! But now with two grandchildren, I have bought a few of these bottles!  It helps the baby with their sucking and also for them to transition to holding things for themselves as they get older.  If you;ve never seen the Podee bottle before, let me describe it for you: It is a regular bottle with the nipple; however, that is where it is like nothing else from here on out.  Within the bottle is a tube that reminds you of a straw, going from the lid to the bottom of the bottle.  Coming out of the lid, is a tube, that connects to the nipple.  It may remind you of a pacifier with a tube attached.  Babies can drink from their bottles sitting up, not laying down/ which can help in preventing ear problems from liquids dripping down in to the baby's ears. It encourages a baby to hold on to the nipple, similar to gripping a sippy cup when they are older.
