play station 2 - playstaion 2 game console Review

I could not say enough about this console.  It was one of the saddest days of my life when at first I heard they were just making games for the PS3.  At the same time it was one of the happiest days in my life when I found out from one of my local game stores that they reversed that decision and decided to keep making games for this console.  Though the games are inarguably usually better on the new generation console, some games are still very good that Sony comes out with for PS2.  If one can not afford or is saving for the new generation consoles (Xbox 360, PS3, WII), this is still a great buy, and with its lower price nowadays, well worth the money.  To me, even with all the hoopla surrounding the WII, this console is still far superior as far as game quality.

Of course I can't finish without noting it makes a darn good DVD player too, and almost eliminates the need to have one if you are not playing blue rays, which of course the PS3 covers.
