this place is PHO-tastic!

Practical, Frequent Diner, a woman, artistic, budget conscious, value conscious, expecting good, fair service

do you know where the secret PHO spot is? i do! its located in a formerly seedy-strip mall just off sunset and parkman in silverlake. thanks to uber-pricey hair salon gamine that just moved in next door, waiting for a table at PHO is gonna take much longer than before... the wait and the hype are worth it. the offer some of the best spring rolls, heaping bowls of pho and great prices to boot. dont expect top quality service, or chatty waiters, this is, after all, silverlake. expect good food, fast service and a wait. the decor is reminicent of ikea, and dont be intimidated by the close proximity of the next table. you will literally be eating elbow to elbow here. parking sucks, but again, its worth the hassle. to be a true silverlaker, you must eat at PHO at least once a month. oh, its ca$h only.
