Philosophy makes a great line of make-up, shower gels, and fragrances.  A woman I used to work with had this on one day and it smelled so nice I had to ask her what it was.  I had never even heard of the brand before.  They have many scents to choose from; amazing grace just seems to go with everything... review »

A bit too perfumy for me, but still a nice scent.

I received a Sephora Scent Sampler set which contained a sample of Philosophy Amazing Grace.  The scent sampler came with a certificate to get a full sized bottle of the scent I liked the best.  Amazing Grace was too perfumy for me, but I can see how it could be nice for some people.

The thing that usually turns me off completely to most perfumes is how strong and overpowering they are. I kept hearing about a great new fragrance which was Amazing Grace by Philosophy. Unfortunately there was no retail store in town that carried it, so I purchased it on-line with the full assumption that I would end up just having to return it because I wouldn't like it. Wow! Was I wrong about that! Amazing Grace is perfect! It is a very light, fresh, pretty, and clean smelling scent.
