I wanted to lose weight and a friend of mine turned me on to Phentramine so I thought I would give it a try.Not only did it agitate me to no end.It ran my blood pressure up,caused my heart to race uncontrollably and pretty much made me extremely nervous to a point I shook so bad that I literally could drop a cup.I went and seen my physician immediatly and he told me to stop taking it because Redux-Fen Fen does work but  at a cost. They cause heart attacks and heart valve damage, not including severe anxiety.I had to make a decison wether to continue, I was paying for it online or to just stop.I decided to quit.Anything that could potentially kill me was not in the cards for me.I know no one wants to have any extra weight or be obese but I also dont want to die or look like a crack addict while I am trying to lose. These drugs work but if you stop taking them then they dont work anymore and you gain all the weight back again.I ,myself started controlling my portions,I walk daily and I find stuff to do.I dont calorie count or do  anything that much  different other than get a little more exercise and watch the portions when i eat.I have lost 60 pounds in 4 months and I feel great. It is a lifestyle change. There are no quick fixes.I am not a size 3 and probley never will be but I am healthy and alive and thats all that matters.I am glad it has worked for alot of you but you need to ask yourselves is dying to be thin worth it? You can be thin by using this stuff and you may look really great but if your dead then it isnt going to matter anyways.I cant  tell anyone here whats right or wrong for you but I can tell you what happend to me and what I know first hand to be a fact. Also stay away from anything that says mayhung as an ingredient because it is ephedrine.Congrats to all those who have lost weight but please be careful.

Hi Bublefan 1,
When I grew up I couldnt gain an inch I was like a 1 until I was 17 and had my first kid but later on and after 4 kids and a thyroid condition it all went haywire. It feels bad when your on the other side of the fence but loving yourself is the key.I am glad your teaching your girls good values to your a good mom because some moms would starve their kids before they would let them gain an ounce it is so sad..Julie

I completely agree with you. I'm trying to teach my young daughter to love herself no matter what! I too have been on both sides of the fence. Growing up my nick-name was Olive Oil.... Don't have that problem anymore. :-)

Hi Bublefan1,
Yeah it is sad because alot of people need something.I thought i would try it and it turned out to be very bad for me.I felt like I was on alot of speed.Everyone has this concieved notion that they have to be a size 1 or a 3 because thats what society teaches us is acceptable but I have learned that being healthy is far more important.I use to be the size 1 and the 3 for years but I had kids then I had a bad thyroid problem and I grew alot.I have been on both sides of the fence and am still coming back but I learned that sometimes we may be a little different but that doesnt mean that we have to be everyone elses idea.We have to be healthy. What feels right for us is what matters not what society tells us that we have to be.

Yeah, they are a danger. I used them years ago and they REALLY worked for me. I kept the weight off for a few years too. They never made my jittery but they do that on my friend who used them with me. Its a shame that the pills that work are bad for ya! Go figure!!!!????!!!!
