if you need the drug then you should take it but make sure that you have a doctor who is willing to work with you and monitor you when you take it.
my doctor kept raising my dose over the period of three years when i told him that i did not feel the medication was working for me. when my dose was 60mg i was flying so high that i felt i was on cocaine. i was doing things at such a high rate of speed that i could not see the poor quality of what i was doing. i almost lost a group of friends because of my actions.
the makers will tell you that there are no withdrawl symptoms when you go off the medication but there are serious withdrawl symptoms. the ones that i experienced were heart palpitations, raise in blood pressure. the hardest part of the the withdrawl is the strange dreams and feeling like you have the flu over the course of getting off the medication.
