mylot.com Review

A little over a month ago I heard about a site called mylot.com.  Mylot.com is a money earning web site, but it is a little different than most I have seen.  Unlike most where you have to write reviews or witty pros or helpful information, this site pays you simply for asking and answering questions. 

You can go on there and start a discussion by asking questions.  You earn money for asking that question, then other people answer your question and they get paid for doing that, or you can answer other peoples questions and you get paid for that.  You also get paid when your referals ask and answer questions. 

I don't know how exactly they determine the pay.  They do update your earnings every day so it is kind of fun to get up in the morning and see how much you earned the day before.  You can't earn a huge amount of money, in on my biggest day I earned .89 but if you add al those pennies together by the end of the month you will have earned at least enough to buy a couple of gallons of gas.  You get paid out at the end of every month as long as you have made the pay out amount which is $10.00.  This is not all that hard to do.  Obviously the more active you are on this site the more you will earn. 

 Along with earning money there are some neat features of this site.  Each member gets their own little home page where your friends and interests are listed.  It also shows the most recent discussions that you have been involved in.  This little home page can also be really personalized.  You can post a link to your blogs or your web sites on your home page. You can also send another member a message through their home page.

You can invite other members to become friends with you, that way you can find questions that your friends have asked and you can answer them if you like.  You can also see what other discussions they have been involved in. 

There are also blogs provided on the site as well as current news, that you are of course welcome to use to start discussions.

There seems to be no limit to the discussions that you can start.  Once you start a discussion or answer a question about a paritular subject you are then asked if you would like that subject to go on your interest page.  Then if you wish to go back to that particular topic to see if there have been new questions posted you can just go to your interest list and click on that subject. 

You can even get your local weather there every day. 

I have been having a lot of fun on mylot, there are a lot of wonderful people there, and people there really seem to want to help you with your problems, and love to answer questions, of course they are getting paid for doing so, but it becomes so much more than a way to make money on there.  You find your self really wanting to help people.  The subjects brought up can be as serious as spousal abuse, or as simple as what your favorite flower is.  I have heard that some people have had a rude person answer one of their questions, but that is very rare and most of the people are truly caring. 

You also have the ability to comment right back to someone who has left an answer for you, I don't mean instant, I mean after you read their comment you can type them a response and it will go directly under their answer, so they can easily read it if you respond to them.  You can converse back and forth with a person this way.

If you are looking for another way to make money on the internet, or if you are just looking for some friendly people who truly want to help each other I recommend mylot.  It is a lot of fun and you get paid for having fun. What could be better than that.
