My Coke Rewards Reviews

My husband and I drink a lot of soda, so it was only natural that we would register for My Coke Rewards.  I was excited and constantly went in there with every bottle of soda we got just to get my 3 lousy points.  That was it - 3 pts per bottle, no matter what size it was. 

I quickly realized it would take us a long long time to get enough points for anything good.  I was aiming for the 285 point photo album from snapfish, or something of equal value.  Either way, we only had 75 points after a long long time of doing this.  Turns out, we don't drink soda as much as other people do because...

I am a huge soda drinker (4-5 cans per day), so the My Coke Rewards program works very well for me:

What's good about the program:

1. If you drink a lot of Coke, you can get some really neat prizes in the process.  I have gotten a $50 gift certificate to Football Fanatics.com and a chair for my balcony, among other things.
2. The prizes are very good (at the higher point levels), and they have partnerships with companies such as Holiday Inn (Priority Club) and Budget Rent-a-Car.
3. It doesn't take long to get your prizes.  Some rewards sites take an excessive amount of time to ship rewards, but My Coke Rewards...

We've been saving caps and Coke packaging and entering codes on MyCokeRewards for about a year now, and here is what I have found regarding this website:

How it works: 

Entering Codes:

1. Purchase a Coke product that has a specially marked code.
2. Go to the website and sign up.
3. Type in codes. Enter more codes...get more points. A twelve pack will earn more points than a 12 oz. bottle, etc.. I have had some trouble entering codes. Some codes are not clearly marked on the packaging and a few codes on items I bought had already been entered by someone else...hmmm.....It was particularly frustrating...

          My Coke Rewards  can indeed be rewarding, as well as frustrating.

          First the cons: small codes, sometimes codes are smudged, sometimes the submissions area shuts down too soon and won't let me fill my limit.  The limit of 10 is TOO SMALL, as if they don't really want me or others to get those reallybig prizes that have been on in thepast.Like some really good trips. I belong to several different reward sites and I tend to stick with the ones that offer rewards for spending as little time in the site as possible. One reward site that certainly fits this description is My Coke Rewards, a web site that rewards you for drinking Coca- Cola products.

I love the MyCoke Rewards Program but I wish they had more free Coke products. When it first started you could get a coupon for a free 2 liter for 10 points, but that wasn't on there long. the free 12 packs were 100 points and then they disappeared. they bring them bacl every once in a while now but they are 240 points and are only on for a Limited Time! It's hard to accumulate the points to save up for them when they are only available for 7 days.

 I have gotten a lot of nice stuff fro mthem though - last year I got a Wii and several games to go with it. Got all kinds of Coke products - sweatshirts,...

My Coke Rewards online point program - I am only sorry I did not sign up sooner!

 Anyone that knows me even a little bit knows my favorite drink is Diet Coke with caffeine. I drink it everyday (unfortunately, I had to decrease my consumption due to the rising costs of the 24-packs).

Back to the program, this is a great reward program because points add up quickly. I am just a single person buying for one and I am happy with how my points are accumulating. They must add up really fast for anyone that has a family.

We drink alot of Coke, but you can never drink enough Coke to get anything good in prizes. It takes forever to save up enough points for anything good.  When I shop, I even move the cases of Coke to get to the 50 points  on the cases, instead of the 10 points. We probably go through a 24 pack every other day, at least. That is alot for 2 or 3 people. Especially at the price of Coke, these days. It seems like the only thing you can ever do is use your points to enter contests.  I really think this is a rip-off... I am not very happy with this form of rewards.
