The My Coke Rewards program had from the beginning set a limit of 10 code entries per account per day. The number of points accrued from 10 entries could vary from 30 (10x3) to 250 (10x25). In mid February we all received an email proudly stating that Coke was doing us a favor by  doing away with the 10 entry per day par account restriction.  That sounded great, but then they added that each account could accumulate only 120 points per week. Doing the math, even if a person only entered the 3 point variety and entered 10 a day would accumulate the week's maximun in only 4 days.  For those of us who are really into this promotion and have friends and neighbors saving their codes for us, this change in the rules in the middle of the game is a real bummer.  Not only has COKE changed the point accumulation rules but now they have also removed all of the better rewards...nothing now over 2000 points.  Some of the eliminted rewards cost close to 25,000 points to obtain, Those of us into the game in a big way could have reached those goals had COKE not changed  the rules.  Bill

Hi Bill,
I am in agreement with your review; my kids and I saved over 11,000 points to get a flat-screen tv; we have asked neighbors, friends, co-workers, etc. to save their Coke Rewards, in addition to checking out recycle bins for packs with the perforated panels still on them.

I emailed CocaCola a couple days ago; tonight I did a search to find "coke rewards program problems" and got 252,000 hits - so we're not alone.

I call it bait and switch - I don't want a barrel cooler with a huge Coke Rewards logo on it. It seems illegal; I'm thinking of a class action lawsuit.

I will send a copy of my long letter to Coke if you are interested. I covered all the bases -- the phony email saying "no more limit to 10 codes per day"; "rewards more often"; having worked in law firms for many years, I find it amazing that Coke's attorneys reviewed these changes and said "no problem."

It's a big problem -- all the companies that offer rewards for certain things should be held accountable for their original offer.

thanks for your reply,
Valerie in Seattle

PS We're coming to Arizona on our spring break.
