mucinex Mucinex Review

I have used Mucinex for quite awhile ( before it was available over the counter) ,  with amazing results.

The active ingredient in Mucinex is guafinisen which is an expectorant for mucus relief . It really works great as a decongestant and thins the mucus secretions and helps " bring up" the mucus from your lungs and nasal passages .

There are generic brands of this drug out there which are equally effective, but be careful of the doses. I believe the Mucinex is 400mg of guaf per tablet and the generics, which are much cheaper,  may only have 100 or 200mg per tablet . You would need 2-4 tablets to have the same effect as the Mucinex one tablet .

If you suffer from chronic sinusitis or have frequent head colds , you know the pain of blocked sinuses . Mucinex can bring very fast relief without any of the side effects of drowsiness and without added ingredients that you don't really need or want with their additional negative side effects . It is a safe drug  -  be sure to take with plenty of water though .
