Plan B:

It is used as a back up if your birth control fails or if you are not on birth control and rely on condoms and a condom breaks. It works great. I always use it when my patch falls off and we forget to wear a condom. I will say it does mess up your period. You may not get one like one month with me or another time i got a light spotty brown period after both cases my next month was extra heavy. This is not to be used in the form of birth control because its more than what a usual dose of birth control gives you. my dr told me its like two or three pills worth of hormones combine.
