Monsters, Inc. Review Summary

Monsters, Inc. is called a "super cute and very inventive story" by reviewers. John Goodman, Billy Crystal, and Steve Buscemi lend their voices to this Disney Pixar story of "a power producing company in the land of monsters, [where] their method of producing power [is to] scare kids when they are sleeping alone in their rooms and capture their screams." Fans note that these bigtime actors in Monsters, Inc. have "voices that you know, but are still believable as those characters." Parents note that this is one movie which completely captures their young children's attention. Yet, even adults without children admit to enjoying Monsters, Inc., calling it "the cutest movie in existence." This is another in a long line of Disney Pixar movies from Toy Story to the more recent Bolt.

Great Family Movie
Every day computer user, health conscious, not rich, love to travel, into action flicks, very picky about kids films, into movies that tell a great story, comedy fan

The Monsters, Inc.; Collector's 2 Disc edition is a great DVD to have at home. The first disc contains the movie in both full screen and wide screen versions. Disc 2 contains bonus features. Its a Disney PIXAR presentation. This is the story of a power producing company in the land of monsters, and their method of producing power -- SCARE kids when they are sleeping alone in their rooms and capture their screams. But somehow the biggest scarer of the movie falls in love with a baby, and then everything changes. As a result, a vicious project to kidnap children is unearthed. Yes, I know it's a kids movie and I don't have kids so yeah, I'm caught! I love the Pixar and Disney flicks more than perhaps an adult should...maybe it stems back from not owning a TV in my childhood...but regardless, I now have a love for all CG animations.

I saw the promo for Monsters, Inc in the theater and of course, I couldn't wait until I saw it. Inventive storyline (and adorable creatures) with voices that you know but are still believable as those characters? That's rare...normally I recognize the actor doing the voice-over and it doesn't quite fit, but the casting was brilliantly done...

This is the cutest movie in existence. I fell in love with boo. She's an animated character.............who falls in love with an animated character? I do!!!! Haha, that's how cute she is. And the idea behind this movie is actually really creative. My niece looks like boo, but my niece is cuter. Did you know that boo was somebody's daughter haha of course but I think she's the director's daughter and they just put her in a room and recorded her for hours....

My son loves this movie

My son is one and a half years old.  Since we have a television that hangs on the wall, he rarely watches it.  Every once in a while he will look up at it if we have it on, but he isn't too interested.  When we turn Monsters, Inc on though, he will sit for quite a while and watch this movie.  He really likes Sulley!  I've watched this movie over and over now since he likes it, and have to admit, I enjoy it too!  It's definitely worth buying!
