makeup alley I like your articles but...

I recently joined Makeup Alley after reading some reviews on it. They have lots of articles etc.. but you can also Swap makeup, Shampoo etc with others. You list items you have to trade and then search for other who maybe looking to trade with you. Well I listed a ton of nice make up all new never opened to see if anyone wanted to trade I emailed some ladies, 3 different ladies as a matter of fact and never heard from a single one. I mean I have MAC, Mark,Avon,Lorac Smashbox and so on not one reply. I was really disappointed. I removed my items from their listing. But you need to be careful there are people swapping makeup that is used and for myself I wouldn't want used makeup. Even if you clean with alcohol. You get tokens when you and someone have made a swap and are satisfied they (person you trade with) gives you a Token (like a good feedback point) and you do the same. I figure since I had no Tokens people didn't want to deal with me. Other than that it's great for reviews.

The Makeup Alley website is a real oasis for those looking for a huge variety of  cosmetic, skincare, fashion (and more) reviews.

There are tons of reviews on just about any beauty product you'd want an opinion on.  It's a fun site too, you get to learn about a lot of beauty secrets like aspirin masks for troubled skin and of all things (yuck) MONISTAT as a skin primer, I know the thought is rather gross but, you'll find all kinds of "double-duty" products like that on the site. 

Members share photos of their makeup stash giving us all a peek into the wonderful world of makeup and it's do's & dont's. If you need to know if spending $30.00 on that "currently all-the-rage" vibrating, lengthening, separating, volumizing mascara is going to be worth it, wait up and give this site a try, you'll get oodles of suggestions for something that may be even better and save you a lot of dough in the process. A great way to learn all about a cosmetic item before you buy it.

Before I purchase a new beauty item I always check the Makeup Alley website to read the product reviews.  I find that most of the reviews seem to share an honest review of the products.  With so many products to choose from, unless you or someone you know has tried a product you have to believe the advertisement and hype, but with sites like Makeup Alley you can find out what users really think of the product and get hints for multi tasking.  As an example I was searching for a good luminating face powder and found that several users also used a certain product to add shimmer to their shoulders and decollatage.  Nice tip!  Works well.  Some of the "as seen on TV" brands are not available at the stores, so it is nice to have an unbiased forum to review before purchasing a product you are not sure about.  In this economy not many people are willing to throw their money around so much so having a site like this is beneficial.

This is a great site if you are looking for reviews on products from ordinary people like you. When considering on trying a new product or if I am looking for a new product I want to know how actual users think of the product not what marketing spin misters have to say. I have also been able to find product reviews on this site that I have not been able to find on other sites which has allowed me to make an educated decision in purchasing a product.

This is the best website for beauty information on the web or anywhere for that matter.  A forum where makeup lovers (or simply those looking for advice) can come and share their tips, advice, colors, etc. 

The best part of the site is the product review section where one can find reviews on everything beauty, from disposable razors to expensive night cream.  And these are honest reviews from consumers just like you and me.  With as much money as beauty costs these days, I will rarely try a new item without consulting the reviews on this site.

Makeup Alley is the best site for all of my beauty needs.  The message boards are friendly and give great advice, especially my favorite, the Nail Board!!  The main draw of the site is the product reviews. They have reviews of almost any beauty related product you can think of.  The reviewers are honest and so helpful!

Makeup Alley is the must go to site before purchasing everything from lipgloss to a hairdryer. The value is in the number of reviews that are available for so many products. It's totaly non bais and honest. I always recommend the sites to friends and strangers alike.
