I found this site by accident as I was looking for used PS Vita games. I liked the fact that you didn't have to use money and the credit system seemed like a good idea. I sold quite a few things in the first couple weeks and everything went smoothly. Then I sold a phone. The person I sold it to filed a complaint against me. I told her to send my phone back and I would return her credits. Then I got an email from a moderator, who are just random users on the site, ORDERING me to return the credits. I told him the same thing. Let me have my phone and I'll return them. Within 30 minutes they had taken the credits out of my account without my permission and blocked my account. So I lost a 300 dollar phone and all of my credits. I have tried to contact the site and no one will speak with me. They can and will take all of your credits whenever they feel like it. Anyone you speak to is just some random person that uses the site. No one will take responsibility and say " Hey, yeah I work for Listia". Beware. It's a shady site.

I have been on Listia for about 5 months now. I have shipped out more than 1500 items and have had problems with only a very few people and the moderators have taken care of each problem that I have encountered. They are fixing problems as each month passes by. I have "met" some great people on the site who come back to my auctions over and over. I LOVE Listia.

This website goes one way or the other fast. It has its great points for sure, and it has its downfalls for sure (that is mostly the staff not enforcing their own policies, and showing favoritism). If you are a savy person, you can reap many rewards from this website, Their are a lot of scammers, and alot of people bullying, (I even had someone threaten to break my arms though a facebook message from their, Cause I posted a comment on one of their scam auctions to warn other listians, LOL!!!). I trade off many items I do not need on their and the items get bid in listia credits. I use the credits to get other stuff that is more useful to myself or my family members, (or even to sell at local swap meets). If you read through their entire website rules and follow them you should be fine. If the honest people on their would not get banned or bullied for doing the right thing it would be even better. Know that purchasing credits from the website to spend on their is the biggest waste of money their is. If you are on their and need to get credits to bid on something you like go to your local store and buy a $10.00 Amazon gift card and Sell that for 16,000 credits, that is a lot less then spending $40.00 from the website. Just being savy and making a few legit friends on their and you will be fine and be able to watch out for each other.

I have been with Listia since Nov 4, 2012 and let me tell you I have gotten about 75 % of my x-mas and B-day shopping done on Listia My daughter has a total of 239 Nintendo Ds games most of them game from Listia at no cost to me. Most of my auctions are recipes free of cost and shipping to me I also do the surveys. Occasionally I sell stuff that I already had and no longer need I offer free shipping. I would say I have spend maybe a total of 100$ on shipping in the time I have been with Listia but I have gotten I would say stuff worth to 3000$ so yes it works. You just got to know what to do. And for those PPL on here that are leaving bad reviews you are obviously don't know what you are doing and or breaking the Rules that need to be there to have the side run smoothly

Listia.com is a good site. Everything on the site cost points. The points can be earned or purchased. They also have a really great rewards store that is ran by listia affiliates like best buy ect. Their shipping for items from the rewards store is super fast. Shipping for stuff from individual sellers vary, most of them have it specified. Some sellers charge for shipping so be sure to check prior to placing a bid. Earning points is really easy. You could put items up for auction, buy them or earn them in other ways. The site differs from other auction sites because some of the stuff is free with free shipping and you only trade points. It's a really fun and interesting way to get rid of stuff you don't want and replace it for something you do, sometimes something brand new. Also, people aren't allowed to leave negative feedback the way other auction sites allow. There is also a more fair dispute process than most other auction sites. It's one of the best auction I have come in contact with.

I was a little hesitant to use this website when I stumbled across it however, since you start with 500 credits I figured I would try it once. Unlike many auction sites that either charge you to list an item or let you list for free but then take 10% at the end of it, Listia is truly free! I love this site! Not only can you get credits for listing stuff you do not use anyways but you can also get credits by filling out surveys or watching videos. As long as you make sure to bid on items with free shipping this will never cost you real money. You only use credits to purchase things so for broke people like me, this was an incredible thing! Thanks to Listia I was able to make Christmas happen for my children and am able to get clothing for myself simply by getting rid of stuff I don't need or want anymore. The only way it will cost money is if you buy credits, though you don't have to buy them you can earn them, or if you offer free shipping on your items to get higher bids. It is a brilliant place to swap with other people for stuff you don't want for things you do want! I would recommend this site to anyone!

I have sold many of used toys, cds, books on Listia. It amazes me that everything I listed was sold quickly, including even a Chinese movie, an artist graphics biography, a kid poetry book. The site is definitely easy and rewarding to use. I was able to buy new race car toy, some used puzzles and books for my kids before the Christmas. I trust Listia, as if I don't get item auctioned, I would get my credits back through Listia moderators. Overall, I love this site.

Listia has the opportunity to get rid of what you do not want or need anymore, and by then you have earned enough credits to "go shopping" through other auctions. I've gotten gift cards, toys, and games for my kids after "selling" music cd's, old Wii games, and some of my collections - that were just collecting dust anyway. It's better to recycle and give away, and get things you want, so why not do so through an auction site? And I've "met" many people I would not have otherwise.

Cannot tell you how great this site is, I have only had awesome experiences on Listia. Have been a member almost 3 years. Anytime I wrote to Listia about anything, they are always quick to respond. I have gotten some really awesome deals on there. Not mentioning being able to get rid of things I don't want anymore. Feels like I am trading my stuff for something else, without having a huge cost involved. I would highly recommend it to anyone!!

I have been a member for almost 2 years . I have won some great items and given away many great items. There are always bad apples that spoil things , but you have to be smart and read the listings and comments . I have had a couple of bad sellers not follow through , but you get that on any auction site. Ebay has scammers and fraudulent sellers as well. They site depends on users to help and flag the auctions that are questionable . I have never had a problem with Customer support, they have always answered me in a timely manner . I love Listia and will continue to be on there offering my items and winning more great things.
