At first I was skeptical about the iPhone and its cult-like following. What could be so great about a little touch-screen phone anyway? It wasn't until my partner bought his 3Gs, thus gifting me with his old iPhone, that I understood what all of the uproar was about. This is by far the best device I have ever owned!

I have been a Mac user for as long as I've been using computers, so I have had my eye on the iPhone since it was introduced.  Unfortunately, being a Verizon customer, this was an impossibility.  That's my biggest complaint about the iPhone – that AT&T are the only carriers for this phone.  We had to switch our plan to AT&T in order to use the iPhone.  AT&T's coverage is greatly lacking with very few 3G coverage spots and poor reception in many spots.  But that is no reflection on the iPhone, just AT&T.

The iPhone 3G is not one bit overrated. The best cell I have ever had, it can do anything. It is also very easy to use. Learning how to use my old Motorola was much more difficult than navigating the iPhone. The apps are amazing and tons are free- I have not paid for one yet and do not plan to. So many free books, games, and other information is free there's no need to pay for any. Navigator, voice recorder weather and more all come free on the phone.
