These bands are just fantastic. I found the Bella Bands at a specialty maternity store for $28 a piece and I bought one in black and one in white. I didn't think they were cheap, but I had heard through the grapevine that you could use them for a large chunk of your pregancy and not have to buy lots of maternity clothes. You put on your underwear, put on the band so that it covers the waistline of your pants. Then pull up your pants, leave them unzipped (or partially zipped if it still goes up) and fold the top have of the band over your pants. They hold up your pants without anyone even knowing they are undone! Granted, I didn't gain a ton of weight (25lbs) but I didn't buy even one pair of maternity pants. I bought 3 shirts and a couple of tank tops, but that was it!!!
I will warn you that if you do find them at a maternity or baby store near you beware - I found the Be Bands (a separate brand of the same thing from the same company) at Target for $16/each. I actually like my Be Band better because it doesn't have tags, the brand info is screen printed into the inside of the band. Much more comfortable.
The only complaint about the product is the tags on the Bella Bands (not Be Band) and that when you fold them over the top of your pants if you didn't put it on inside out it looks like you have a tank top on inside out under your shirt. Little wierd. Would like them to have a complete finish. But certainly not a huge complaint!
