Make Sure You Have A Clear Understanding Of What You Are Buying

I purchased XMen the complete series and from the day I placed my order, I emailed them everyday asking for a tracking number so I can track my shipment.  They never once responded to me.  I researched and found that their price was the lowest and now I know why.  The quality isn't the best, and as the saying goes, you really do get what you pay for:(

they deliver extinct, hardtofind shows, and fast!

After reading up on the seller, he is a stage 4 cancer patient who found agreements to be able to sell extinct tvshows/cartoons that are not on the market. Also these shows will NEVER be on the market, so even if the quality is 7-9 of 10, SO BE IT. There is no other way to view my old fav. show. Even though the seller was going through chemo he was able to get me my product in a timely fashion. A+

Amazing unique place

I read the other review of this place and its very accurate. The quality is very good being that no major company will remaster the masters, so the fact that this place exists for us to have SOME way to view the show, a 3 of 5 star is a joke. this is a 10 of 10 in my book. They got me the 2 products in 3 days and the last product in 8 days, and this was due to the owner going through radiation. I was kept up to date on everything.

 so i cant knock a place for the quality when its the only way in the world to view anyways. will buy there again at christmas.

I should have read with more comprehension

This outfit provides dvd sets of  tv shows that are not commercially available. The dvds are are not of HD/DVD quality but this is clearly noted on their website under shipping and policies.The website rated the dvd series that I bought as 9 out of 10 in terms of quality. I'm not sure exactly what this means, but the picture quality of the set I bought was rather poor. The charachters and objects are distorted by some sort of fuzzy outline, making them look blurry and ill-defined, possibly a limitation of the master they make their copies from. This also affects any text that may be on screen making it difficult or impossible to read. So consider carefully and email  them for more information on picture quality before buying because they will not refund your money based on picture quality, no matter how bad you think it is.

Got my Rocko's Modern Life Cased DVD sets within 6 day's after ordering them. They play for the most part, well. Sound quality and picture quality isnt the best, but definately watchable.  You guys are hard on these seller.  Seems like a decent business.  I give these transaction a 3 out of 5 stars because they didn't tell me when the item was shipped.

Communication is non existant

I purchased two sets: Challenge of the GoBots and Grimm's Faerie Tale Classics.  Both claimed to be higher quality than what I would give them.  I understand they are not master copies, but lets call it like it is.  The menus are difficult to use, as they do not always work.  The major problem that I have is that I was not informed when they were shipped out (I used GoogleCheckout, which the seller should update when ships) and EVERY attempt to contact the seller about the shipment, went unanswered.  I attempted through the my personal e-mail and through GoogleCheckout.  The website says they usually ship in 24 hours, no later than 36 hours, and sent via USPS so most get in **3 days**.  I received my order in **6** **business** days(with a holiday in there - so it makes it **11 days**), which I am not complaining about.  I am complaining about that when I did not receive it, i tried to contact them to ask about when it shipped.  No response.  I appreciate being able to somewhat view these programs, but overall, not a pleasant experience.  Will not purchase from again.  I would advise you not to either.  I understand the seller is frequently in and out of the hospital due to cancer.  I am sorry this is the case, but please don't make such estimates on the websites that are not going to be obtained, and please update the quality of each show as they are not as good as are listed on sellers website.

Heed this warning before purchasing

In general I would say you should be extremely careful and cautious before giving this company any of your money. I have recently placed a order in December 08 and this is how my experience went.

Early December e-mailed company to ask about the availability of items in stock and to inquire if the company was still up and running since their always "updated" customer reviews wasnt updated since June. Recieved a response promptly within that same day informing me that they indeed were still open and that they were in full stock of all sets.

Placed my order the next day for over 200.00 in merchandise. Money taken out of bank account via credit card thru PAYPAL.

A few days late I e-mailed back to make sure that the sets I ordered would be here prior to X-Mas. Recieved no reponse. E-mailed again two days later, no response, E-mailed the next day and day after that, no response. Have written 4 nicely worded e-mails almost beggging someone to at least respond to assure me that someone is alive on their end.

Have a uneasy feeling that this might result in a worldwind of phone calls and filing disputes and wasting time trying to get my money back.

This company unfortunatly has a monoply on these shows we really want to see, it is concerning though that after the money is out of your account you can not get in touch with anyone. My question is if you are going to run a business then RUN IT! You are going to have customers with questions and you cant just ignore them after they have given you their hard earned money.

In conclusion I would say if you are completly desperate and really have no other options to try and see these shows then go ahead and go through these guys. If you dont want the risk involved or headache I would personally stay away. Myself, this is the first and last time. I have not recieved any merchandise yet but it has only been about a week and a few days.

Called Pay-Pal and they did say they can assist in returning your money which is better than being ass out, although that seems like a big headache and waiting to see sort of thing. Am going to try to inquire with my bank to see if they can reverse these charges, dont know if it is possible because of PAYPAL being the middle man between buyer and seller.

Anyways hope this helps stear anyone clear of future headaches and aggrevation. Take what I have said seriously, hope this helps someone else.

Wouldn't buy from this company ever again

I took a chance on Imissmytvshows as I could hardly find any information on the company.  I also didn't really care for the list of warnings they have on their website about how they won't accept returns due to picture quality and why (person can copy it), ETC.  I know people can be dishonest but after reading all their disclaimers, it doesn't seem that they think too highly of their customers.

I got the goosebumps series in the hard case.  I ordered it for $40 including shipping which seemed okay to me.  I never got a response that the order had been received or it was being processed.  It made me very suspicious as this has never happened to me before.  I sent several emails to different addresses and a couple came back failure.  The one on the paypal site came back.  I immediately placed a claim with paypal for item not received even though it had been only 3 days.  I did this because I can't be bothered to do business with a company that can't even acknowledge that they got your order.  I waited a couple of days to see if I got a response through paypal before I escalated it to a claim.  There was no response so I escalated it to a claim.  In the meantime, I continued to try and email the company with no response.

There is some medical update on the website that I saw later that the owner? is going through radiation, however, the last update was in July.  While I feel bad about that, if you're running a company you either run it or shut it down.

Approx. a week later (I have an APO address), lo and behold, I got the series in the mail.  It just showed up and I never did get any type of response from the company.  I removed my claim from paypal, though if my children didn't like goosebumps I would have changed it to not as described.

Quality listed on website of this is 9/10.  Don't believe it!!!!  If I had to rate it, I MIGHT give it a 5 or a generous 6 but no way is it a 9.  It is grainy and looks like it was copied from a vhs or something.  The quality is fair to poor but tolerable.  Since my children are young, they don't mind it but I wasn't happy about it. 

Customer service is nonexistent.  Quality is poor.  BBB shows unsatisfactory rating.  I would only use them if you are so desperate and can't find these shows anywhere else and are willing to take a chance.  I could have just purchased the goosebump series.  I got what I paid for or maybe I didn't.
