I received the irobot scooba for Christmas a few years back, not this model but one like it, and I thought that I would enjoyed the convince of being able to let the irobot scooba go and mop the floor while I did something else. Mopping floors is not a job that I like doing in fact I think that mopping floors is like the worst job ever! Because of the design of my kitchen , it is almost an L shaped kitchen, I had to block of certain areas so that the irobot scooba would stay in one area of the kitchen. I tried using the invisible wall that they offer but there were times that it did not work. The product worked good at first, but it did not get the ground in dirt on the floor. After I used it for a few months, the battery would not to hold a charge. I could only let the irobot scooba go for about a half hour before the battery went dead. Then I would have to recharge the battery for several hours and start the process over again. This became very frustrating . By the time I finished using the irobot scooba to clean the floor I could have mopped it manually and it would have been way faster. I like the idea of the two separate tanks that hold the clean water and dirty water. Oh another disadvantage is that they say you can sweep the floor and mop it all at once. I find that leaving the floor dirty and starting the irobot scooba so that it sweeps it and then mops it is not good. It just moves the dirt around making more of a mess! This makes it so that if does not clean the floor. It does get under the counters which is nice, but it leaves about a quarter inch between the edge of the counter, or wall and the unit where it does not clean the floor. I find this just more work for myself, because now I have to clean those spots. That defeats the purpose of using the irobot scooba to begin with. I called the irobot scooba company to talk to them about the issue of the battery and believe it or not I was on hold for a half hour just waiting for someone to take may call. Once if finally got to talk to a real person I explained the situation and they were going to replace my battery for free, because it was still under warranty. Unfortunately the batteries were on back order and they had no idea when they would be in. it was about two weeks later and I received this package in the mail, for some strange reason they set me a brand new in the box scooba, with out a battery. I was a bit confused and am an honest person so I called the company and was on hold for another half hour waiting for a rep. to take my call. Once I got to talk to a real person I explained to them that I had called before and they were going to replace my battery when they came in off back order, and that they sent me a new scooba instead, that this was not right, what are we going to do to fix it? We I had the option to keep the new scooba and return the old one, they would send me a prepaid box to mail it back in. and I could keep the new irobot scooba, it was a newer model, and not only could you put the irobot scooba cleaner in it, you could also use water and white vinegar. I thought that would be great because the cleaner you had to order from them and it seemed to be a hassle to do that. Well I packed up my old scooba and put it under the coffee table and waited for a box to come in the mail from the irobot corporation. And I wait, and waited and well you get the picture, it never came. I waited a year then sold the old one on eBay. It just goes to show you that the corporation or company just doesn't have it together. Back to the new one. So I used the new irobot scooba for a few months and guess what the battery does not hold a charge any more. I refuse to call the company because I am no longer covered under warranty and I am not spending more money to have the battery fail on me again. So my husband paid all this money of a product that he thought was going to make my life easier and I reality the irobot scooba is just taking up space in my kitchen. I find the product to be too expensive and not worth the hassle. Again this is my experience with the irobot scooba and not every one's experience is the same. I really thought that this would be a great product to have in my home and would be easy to use. If given the opportunity to purchase the irobot scooba again would not. I probably would not even consider purchasing another product like this one in the future. I would not recommend the irobot scooba to any one.

At first I was skeptical but after using Scooba , but then I was impressed. My floors were clean an smelled fresh.  It is a bit costly.   But for the time it saves me it is worth it. Also customer service is great.  If  they can not solve it, they will send you another, if it is within the year warrenty.   Overall I woul d recommend this product to anybody.

I bought the iRobot Scooba 350 floor washing vacuum last July as a birthday present for myslef & love it! It does a great job keeping my kitchen & dining room floors clean. Even with textured floors I rarely have to wash any of the floor by hand anymore **PROS:** Easy to use Instruction book including was very easy to follow & understand making the machine easy to use Easy to clean You only have to wash three componants and the dirty wash tub after running the machine Fun My kids love watching our Scooba run and have taken to calling it Scooby Cheap & easy to find cleaner I usually use white vinegar to clean with, so I actually have the original sample bottle of cleaner still sitting in my cabinet that the Scooba came with **CONS:** Noisy Not a big deal, but also not something you are going to do on the same level with someone who is trying to sleep (about as noisy as your average vacuum cleaner) Misses corners This happens when you try to clean square corners with a round machine, not a big deal to me I just hand wipe the extreme corners once the machine is done. Long Cycle It does tend to run a long time (I would say close to an hour) but this allows it to make several passes over the whole floor. Expensive Overal we love our Scooba! If they were cheaper I would buy the Rumba too for vacuuming my carpeted floors.

I bought a refurbished scooba online. I really liked that I could use vinegar instead of the special cleaner--saves money and safer for my family. And I LOVED the idea of my floor being mopped while I was outside playing with my two toddlers. Once everything is set up, and you've worked out all the "kinks", the scooba cleans really well, with the exception of corners. For me, that wasn't a big deal to wipe down the corners every so often myself. Overall, it leaves the floor clean and pretty dry. But....the hard part was working out all the logistics. I had to make sure I plugged in the battery the night before I wanted to mop. Not a big deal, just something I had to plan for. It took me a while to figure out exactly how to arrange my furniture and the invisible wall so that the scooba did not get stuck under a chair, or miss an entire section of the kitchen floor. There were just several things like that to work out. The few times that I had planned it out and was able to start it on my way out the door in the morning, I LOVED it. However, I'm busy and just not on top of it enought to plan out cleaning the kitchen floors, so I've stopped using it.

One chore I hate to do is get out the industrial mop and bucket to do the tile floor in the largest area of our house! The Scooba is one of the best investments I have ever made. The liquid soap smells good and I love watching the machine run, knowing that it is one less job for me! I do have to scrub my tile floor once a month or so, because my tile has texture (which the scooba can only do so much on). For general cleaning it has been awesome! I can't find the special soap in stores, so I buy it online. I also wish the battery lasted longer - I can only do one room before I need to charge it again. I lovve that it is a "smart" machine and it will "tell you" when it gets stuck!

I have GOT to say that this is the most wonderful item I have ever owned! The I-Robot scooba floor "mop" cleans when i am doing other things...I simply turn it on, and it does its thing, eaving me free to clean other areas of the home, take a nap, go to work...whatever! The I-Robot scooba takes just a bit of maintenance, such as rinsing and cleaning the tanks and brush each tim, but that takes less than 5 minutes and it is well worth it. My floors have never been cleaner...right around the corner areas still need to be manually done, but that is nothing... I do wish the battery had a longer charge (MINE DOES ABOUT 300 SQ FT B4 NEEDING A RECHARGE), but all in all, a great little machine, and takes up very little space. I keep mine plugged in unde a chair in the living room...you cant even tell it is there. Yay, Scooba!

      The iRobot Scooba 350 is a great hands free product. It cleans well and is also a great source of entertainment. My cats jump all over it when it is cleaning. All you have to do is turn it on and let it do its' thing! I am usually cooking when I leave mine on and it comes and cleans up any messes I leave or drop onto the floor. When my friends or family come over, they are amazed how anything that small can can do a job so big! I referred my uncle to the store where I got mine and now he owns one as well!! This is a great product and I recommend this vaccuum to anyone. I am positive anyone will be amazed at this product. It's small, cleans well, and it doesn't take up that much space. If you are tired of pushing around the same old vacuum and want to keep up your house, then this product is for you! The only problem I have with this product is that it doesn't do well with corners or couches.

I was pretty skeptical that a machine would do a good job of washing the floors, but I'm very impressed. You know how, right after you mop the floor with an ordinary mop, you can slide across it wearing a pair of light colored socks and get them dirty? Well, with the Scooba, it's not perfect, but it's way better. Scooba somehow manages to collect most of the dirty water instead of pushing it around, so it actually does a better job than I do. I suspect I could beat it if I was willing to get down on my knees and scrub, but no thanks.You don't even have to vacuum first--it'll do that, too.I still have to do the corners and a few tight spaces now and then.My only real complaint is that it doesn't know when it's done. Whether you put it in a large room or a tiny room, it'll keep going over and over the floor until it runs out of cleaning fluid, which takes it about an hour. You can just stop it and put it in a different room, but it's sort of hard to guess the ideal time to do that.

The iRobot Scooba is a small automatic floor-washing machine. It is approximately 4 inches high and glides across the floor, washing it in a pattern that eventually covers the entire floor. It is a very hard working machine for one so small. The Scooba has two tanks. You put the special cleaning solution, or vinegar, and clean water in one tank. As it glides across the floor, the Scooba puts the clean mixture on the floor, scrubs with a brush, and then vacuums the dirty water up into the second tank. The Scooba will vacuum up small debris on the floor, but you will get better results if you sweep the first. The Scooba comes with a virtual wall that when activated will tell the Scooba not to go into an area that you have designated as off limits. The front of the machine is quite sensitive and it will change directions if it touches another object. The Scooba will beep if it needs to tell you something. When this happens, there will be a message on the top of the machine to tell you what the problem is. One problem with the message system is that the Scooba uses the same message for more than one problem. For example, "Check Tank" is used when the clean water tank is not full enough, when the tank is not properly installed, or when the Scooba has finished the washing cycle. Empty the tanks when the Scooba has finished the washing cycle and then put the machine back on the damp floor, press the clean button twice and it will dry the floor. If the floor is not completely dry when the machine beeps to say it's done you can start it up again. It will normally be dry after the first time through, but if it is very humid out it can take longer. When the floor is dry the Scooba needs to be cleaned so it will be ready for the next time you use it. Depending on whether you swept before you washed will determine how messy the clean-up will be. The tanks, the brush from the cleaning head, the filter, and the vacuum hose need to be rinsed, dried, and replaced. After this is done you should recharge the unit so it will be ready the next time you want to use it. The battery typically only holds enough of a charge to do one floor and it takes approximately two hours to recharge. The Scooba does a good job of cleaning the main areas of the floor. It does a reasonably good job on the edges of the floor as well. It is hard for it to get the corners as clean as one would like, but overall I would recommend the Scooba. It is not an inexpensive piece of cleaning equipment to own, but if you can afford it and don't like to wash floors then it will be a good investment.
