Roomba has made taking care of my hardwood floors so much easier! Before, I could sweep continuously and it would still be a little dusty. Now that I use the Roomba everyday the amount of dust and allergens has been drastically reduced. I also love using it on my carpets. It is amazing what it picks up. Daily use of it has been an amazing addition to my cleaning habits. Maneuverability It manuevers very well for the most part. The only issue I have it that it gets stuck sometimes on my recliner base. If the recliner weren't so heavy, I'd move it every time. A lot of reviews I've read say to move all chairs etc and it is very helpful to do so. Ease of Maintenance It is very easy to maintain. I empty the tray after each room and wash the filter every few days. The only thing that is a little hard is that you really need to make sure the rollers are hair/lint free after every day or so of using it. It can get tangled up really fast on the side, but they provide great tools!

I think I mainly enjoy this vacuum because i don't have to physically move around as much. I think it is fun to watch it roam around and clean by itself. However, it doesn't really get everything up out of the carpet. You will need a regular vacuum in your home to use in corners and places where this one gets stuck or doesn't get everything up. I have cats and it is not great at getting up all the hair, and rough to get the hair cleaned out of it after use. My cats find it as amusing to watch as i do. I think it does a good job as long as you're not using it to deep clean. If you run a regular vacuum often and use this when you don't otherwise have time to do it yourself then it's great. I do like being able to set it to clean when i want it to, however, sometimes using this function you will find it has gotten stuck somewhere and just been stuck in that one spot for who knows how long. I do enjoy this robotic vacuum even with some of the faults it may have.

I would never be able to live without this amazing device that has changed my life from positively hectic to carefree! I am able to relax after work instead of running to sweep my hardwood floors from all of the dust, dirt and grime that gets tracked in and around my home on a daily basis! Maneuverability this wonderful floor cleaner is able to maneuver around corners, furniture and tight spaces with the utmost ease and flow! Ease of Maintenance I have never had to do anything at all to this great product except charge it up so it's ready to use all the time!!! Suction Performance this great invention has no problem whatsoever sucking up all the dust bunnies that accumulate around the corners of the floors and baseboards of my entire downstairs Versatility this runs in every room you have in your home! what a great addition to your cleaning appliances! Design It seems as if it was designed by a very tech savvy engineer because it is extremely stream lined and graceful in its structure. I love how quiet it is as it cleans my hardwood floors. Durability my ten year old son accidentally stepped on it the other day and it still operated with no problems whatsoever! I was amazed at how tough and durable it is!

I've had my iRobot Roomba 630 Vacuum for about 3 years. I guess my expectations were a bit too high based on reviews I'd read before purchasing it. My plan was to set it to clean at a certain time and come home to a clean house. The first time I attempted this, I returned to find it stuck in a corner with about a quarter of one room vacuumed. I have since learned how to move obstacles out of its path as it bumps along to clean. I do appreciate that it doesn't hurt my kids if they happen to be in its path. It just backs up and vacuums around them. The other issue is that because my home is relatively open, the iRobot Roomba 630 Vacuum has trouble distinguishing where one room ends and the next one begins, so it often doesn't fully finish a room. I can remedy this by blocking off its path, but again, this kind of defeats the purpose of a robot vacuum. The last complaint is that the battery life is not that great overall, and replacement batteries are quite expensive. All that being said, I do love that it can get a room clean while I'm busy with something else. The iRobot Roomba 630 Vacuum is great for daily maintenance, but a thorough cleaning with a regular vacuum is needed to get below the surface of the carpet as well as along the walls an in corners. Maneuverability It gets stuck a lot but usually can get where it needs to be. Alright, its a small vacuum, so it is not perfect, but I love that it works without me pushing it! It does not hold a ton of debris, so if your home is really dirty, you will need to do more maintenance on this vacuum. Also, if you have pets you should consider the pet models, or not making this your only vacuum. Long pet hair will get wrapped around the parts, just like any other vacuum, but the problem will impact this unit a little more than the larger vacuums, since it is so small. This vacuum is amazing if you dont have a ton of time to clean your home, and especially if you dont really get your home very dirty to begin with, and therefore this vacuum would be great to maintain the clean. For deep cleaning, you really should get a full size, regular vacuum. This vacuum is also great for parts of the house that rarely get use or cleaned, but need a quick sweep once in a while, just to keep up with any dust.

I gave this an overall rating of 6 because while it's OK for those days when you're between heavy cleaning it is not effective enough for heavier use. An upright or cannister vacuum will do a much better overall job. Maneuverability This vacuum manuvers itself, so there is little human intervention required. It gets itself around furniture and hums alone nicely. Ease of Maintenance Very easy to empty the dust cup and remove all the debris. Brushes are easy to remove and clean out with the provided tool. Suction Performance Does not have enough suction to do a thorough job on carpets, especially thicker ones. Works better on a very low-pile carpet. Versatility Does an OK job on hard surfaces such as tile and wood, also does ok on carpet. Cannot do stairs. Design Gets very confused at times, running in circles an seemingly forgets where it's been and where it's going. The look of the vac is nice. Its charger can be set in an out-of-the-way corner so it's always ready to go. Durability Seem like it will last an averge amount of time. I've had mine for a little over a year.
