Don't waste your money.

an animal rescuer, bargain shopper, Cost conscious, a comparison shopper, a woman, own 4 personal dogs

While the Roomba is a nice idea, it doesn't handle heavy dog hair. I have four dogs. Your best bet is a good quality vacuum. If you have the money, go for a Dyson. I also like the rubber broom. They're about $10 and really get up the hair, especially on hard floors.

I have never heard of a rubber broom, but will go out looking for one. We have two dogs and 6 cats so you can imagine the battle with hair.Thanks,
