My Roomba makes life easier!

a homeowner, not very handy, picking up after pets
Pros

    easy to empty tray and maintain--no bags, picks up dirt, fur, cat litter, time saver, leaves me free to do something else

Cons
    Battery dies very soon, can get caught up in cords, collection tray needs emptying often, does not work well on thicker carpet, need to empty dirt bin frequently

I have owned the Roomba 530 for about a year now.  It is very helpful.  I rotate it with my dyson.  I have 3 dogs and although it is not a deep cleaner it is great to use in between vacuuming.  It's side brushes do break, but are fairly cheap to replace (15 for 3).  it does get stuck at times and I have a very full shaggy area rug that it has trouble going over, but does fine on all my other area rugs.  It is slow, and has a very odd pattern, but also it does get the job done, and is very nice to come home to  clean floors!
