Apple - iPod Touch
I use the ipod touch mainly for the internet browsing and phone calls. There are many other features of the ipod touch, such as playing music, playing video, playing games, etc. I take the ipod touch as a convenient way of having a tiny computer in my palm, and a replacement of phone at home. Overall the battery life is good (normally two to three hours for my personal use per charge), the screen is crisp and the software/os is stable. The enlarge/shrink function of the touch screen is especially handy when the safari browser is used. With the help of many applications available through itunes...

Just like its phone-wielding sibling, the iPhone, the iPod Touch is a touch-screen device with a glass-covered 3.5-inch screen that sports a 480x320-pixel resolution. In spite of its touch-screen interface, Apple includes a few physical buttons, including a slim volume control on the left edge, a hold switch on the top, and a home button on the face of the player, placed below the screen. The bottom edge of the Touch includes the same universal dock port and 3.5-millimeter headphone jack as previous models, piercing the otherwise unbroken expanse of chromed steel that wraps around the back and...

Many current music players are capable of doing a lot more than just playing music. And the latest Apple iPod touch is not an exception. It is a full media players equipped with innovative functions such as Internet, WiFi and an option to play YouTube videos for example. The Apple iPod touch came in a surprisingly compact box; only inches larger than the iPod touch itself. The iPod touch comes with a fully loaded battery, so it is not necessary to charge the battery before using the iPod touch. Even the date and time were set correctly on the iPod touch we received. Enough reasons for our partners...

Apple - iPod Nano (4 GB)
its a good starter ipod but if you are an avid music fan and listen to alot of music, you run out of space real fast.
Apple - iPod Nano (2 GB)
I love the iPod. Always have. At home, we have five, including this one: the 4GB iPod nano black.
Before you leap, realize two things: (1) this iPod is extremely fragile compared to other iPods, particularly the tough-as-nails iPod mini (a drop of a couple of feet onto a linoleum floor took out the screen); and (2) the black version gets scratched very easily, and shows scratches far more than any white iPod I've owned (after a day and before dropping the damn thing, it already looked awful from scratching -- and it was treated with kid gloves).
Okay, if you can live with those caveats, and...
Apple iPod Classic 80G
Ok, on to the review..I just got my 80 gb ipod classic recently with a 3 year extended service plan, immediately got itunes version 7.5 and upgraded the firmware immediately to 1.0.3 which seems to have taken care of A LOT of bugs people have been reporting. It must have because I am not getting ANY of the problems other have reported such as laggy clickwheel, itunes freezing etc. The clickwheel is VERY responsive, only a light touch is needed and scrolling through cover art was very quick! No problems whatsoever with the clickwheel. I also have had no problems copying files to itunes and transferring...
review »Apple - iPod Nano 3rd Generation Media Player
PRICE: As just about every anti-iPod reviewer mentions, THE IPOD IS MORE EXPENSIVE AND DOES PRETTY MUCH THE SAME THING. The iPod is basically the BMW of mp3 players...the other mp3 player work like, and cost about as much as a Kia. They all do basically the same thing, but the cheaper ones are cheaper for a reason!
SIZE: All three players are smaller than a walkman, so it's kind of silly to even discuss this, but it seems to be a hot topic in the other reviews. From largest to smallest the players are ranked as follows: Lyra, Zen, iPod. The Lyra is the only one of the three which will not fit easily...

review »Apple - 8GB iPod Nano Chromatics
This is my first iPod. I got my favorite color purple. It is neat. I can listen to music, watch movies, and view my pictures. It has so much memory I haven't even used half of what it can hold. It is easy to use.
I had one other mp3 player and it was hard to use and did not have as much memory. I love my iPod and would recommend it to anyone. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the earphones did not fit my ears well and had to get the marshmallow ones, they fit great.
If you are looking for an mp3 player I would greatly recommend the iPod Nano.
Samsung P2 (8 GB) MP3 Player
This mp-3 only lasted a year, The battery seemed to hold very little life. My son, complained that half way into a 3-mile run it would die. I will not buy this brand of MP3 again.
Apple iPod Classic 80G
I will buy it
The Classic's most impressive design improvement is its dramatically overhauled menu system. One of the most striking changes is a split-screen main menu that displays the selections on the right half of the screen and a picture related to the selection on the left. For example, highlight the Music selection on the main menu, and the right half of the screen displays a random, drifting close-up of cover artwork from your music library. This same effect accompanies menu items such as movies, podcasts, and photos. Some might write off this split-screen effect as pure novelty, but the...
review »Samsung P2 (8 GB) MP3 Player
I think it is good for us to use it
Although it's noticeably smaller at 3.8 inches by 2.0 inches by 0.4 inch, the Samsung P2 resembles the iPod Touch more than any other MP3 player. Like the Touch, the P2 offers virtually no tactile controls, instead relying on its face-dominating (3-inch) touch screen for interface navigation. The similarities basically end there--the player's interface is decidedly less Mac-like than that of its iPod counterpart, but we daresay this is a good thing. Back to that momentarily. Rounding out the physical characteristics of the P2 are a mic hole, proprietary dock,...
