It takes 06 a step further, but there is a learning curve.

I'm really liking the improvements in iLife 08. The look is great, and the programs are completely integrated, it seems like they're really not separate. I've made amazing documents for meaningful events (concerts, recitals, funerals, neighborhood yard sale) that are going to be long-time keepsakes with an incredible look. It is taking me more time to complete these documents for now because I'm figuring out how to do the new things on my own. There is a big difference. I still need to use iMovie 06 to import and edit my digital videos because my camera is several years old. I have full confidence that when I upgrade that I'll be able to do much more with my newer creations than I am now. In some ways the transition from iLife 06 to iLife 08 is like moving from OS 9 to OSX. It takes some time to adjust, but it's worth it.

My apologies....I just realized I reviewed the software and not this book. Now that I know about this book, I think I'll look into buying it because it could help me with the areas in which I need help.
