I bought this adapter to use with my Jaybird Gear bluetooth headphones. It was easy to figure out once I read the instruction manual for my headphones to learn how to put them into pairing mode. As for the bluetooth adapter itself, it was simple as plugging it into my 6th generation ipod nano once the headphones were ready for pairing. No need to press any buttons. There is a single button on the adapter... not sure what exactly it's for, but whenever pairing seems to be taking longer than usual, I press that button and the adapter/headphones find each other. The adapter comes with very minimal instructions, but it wasn't a big deal after I figured it out for the first time. It's reasonably priced for the quality & shipping was fast & I'm happy with this purchase! So far no issues with connectivity/interference. Sound is great
