This book is not for everyone.  Amy Sidaris (actress and sister of writer David Sidaris) gives some insight into her not so functional life with tips on everything from "Entertaining the Elderly" (written in large print) to how to make money off home parties for friends.  She includes recipes (which I have tried) from her Greek family and others, and they are quite good, and easy (for the most part).  She is laugh out loud (and read out loud) funny, sarcastic, shocking, and insightful while writing things most of us might think but not dare say.  If you are sensitive to politically incorrect comments do not bother with this book as parts might offend you.   For everyone else, this is a great and fun book, would make an entertaining coffee table/gift for friends with a good sense of humor, and you will keep going back to it for a chuckle.  There is a chapter on make your own crafts at the end which I could have lived without,  but other than that, highly recommended (with above disclaimers)
