hulu.com —

I was complaining to one of my sons that I can't watch Heroes this season because it has been scheduled to air in the same time slot as 24.  [Nothing takes precedence over 24!]  That is when my son told me about Hulu.com.

Hulu.com is a unique new website that houses videos, full television series episodes and movies.  There you will find shows from the standard television networks as well as many cable networks.  Limited commercials pay for the service so at this time the service is free.

With Hulu.com I am now able to catch up on Heroes as well as any other show I miss.  I have enjoyed the ability to catch up on a show at my leisure and I appreciate the shortened commercial times.

The only problem I have had with Hulu is when I am trying to watch a CBS network show.  I get a message that says either the video I am requesting is either unavailable or is being blocked by an ad blocker installed in my browser.  I have tried searching for an answer and discovered that Hulu and CBS TV.corp are having some kind of dispute issues.  I hope they get them straightened out soon though because I missed an episode of The Unit that I really wanted to see!

Hulu.com Trivia:
Just recently I have seen advertisements with Alec Baldwin informing us that Hulu.com is an evil plot to destroy the world put in motion by aliens.  It may not explain Hulu.com but it helps me understand Alec Baldwin!

That would be a great idea except I don't have NetFlix, an XBox or a Tivo.

You could always just stream Heros on NetFlix...using your Xbox 360 or TivoHD plus it is in HD on these...

I discovered this site recently too and love it! I got to watch my missed episodes of Lipstick Jungle.

Thanks, I have to see if Oprah's show from the other day is there. I wanted hubby to watch it but I deleted it by mistake (:

You will love it. Some movies are on temporarily but those are marked. Catch them while you can!

I hear you. Everyone we know knows that it is taboo to call our house during 24. If you are dying it will have to wait until 24 is over.

I have never heard of this before. Thanks Meri, I plan on catching up on Rescue Me. Thanks for sharing this info with us!

Oh wow! I dvd heroes so that I can watch it after the children go to bed. i didn't know it was on hulu, which I use here and there to catch something -- found the two part series knights of templar on there I missed some bc of programming dvr wrong - anyway still need to watch part 2 but hulu is pretty cool

Yeah, Hulu is a GREAT site. Nothing interferes with "24" at our house, too. I think if the house was on fire and "24" was on, we'd evacuate AFTER the ticking clock counts down to :59! Alec Baldwin is wierd but I love the guy! He's great on 30 Rock.

Watch for the commercial- it suits him perfectly! ;-)

Your comment about Alex Baldwin is hilarious. I'm still laughing. Nothing interferes with us watching "24". I DVR a lot of shows on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thanks for the info on Hulu.com.
