I wish I'd never bought this car. I purchased it in 2006. Immediately after the warranty ran out, the AC stopped working, and has never been repaired. The rear defrost stopped working. The Transmission has had to be repaired. The cd changer was a joke. It takes three tries to start it when it's cold. It's barely driven, and goes through tires like no vehicle I've ever seen. It only gets 20 mile per gallon. I can't wait until it is paid for so I can trade it in... for anything that is not a Ford! lol

This was, and still is, my first car. Got it in 2003 or 2004, and it is now 2009. It is 14 years old, and still going strong. I call it "old faithful".
It's a great height of the ground -- you don't feel like your stepping "down" into it. Great transition from a vehicle that you feel high up in when driving. It only takes 1/8 of a tank to drive for one hour on the interstate, so whatever that mileage is per gallon. I've when long distances in it many times.
Nothing major ever went wrong until after it was 10 years old. I believe we've had some transmission, radiator, and air/heat troubles. ...
