Dodge 2500 - 1999

Good truck, crew cab's nice, and known for transmission problems

We have had this truck for three years. We had the transmission replaced at approximately one-hundred and ten thousand miles. We were told, that year Dodge was known for transmission problems. My truck is a crew cab which is convenient with small children, but not a lot of leg room for adults. It is not the best with gas mileage, we only get roughly eleven miles per gallon, thirteen miles per gallon highway miles. It pulls a trailer with ease, you hardly notice your pulling anything. They have strong engines.
