Energizer Weather Ready Dual Power Lantern
My family goes camping pretty frequently and on one of our last trips, our lantern broke. I bought the Energizer Weather Ready Dual Power Lantern for our most recent trip and really like it. It offers two choices for lighting: alkaline batteries, or if you are somewhere you can plug it in, a 12-volt adapter.
Energizer says that this lantern has a lifetime guarantee in workmanship and materials for the life of the lantern. The packaging states that the lantern: "provides room-filling light for up to 29 hours on one set of alkaline batteries".
I chose the Engergizer Weather Ready Dual Power...

Pampered Chef Stoneware turned me into an awesome baker. If I had not experienced baking with it I probably would be quite skeptical. So long overdone rolls, so long burnt cookies... truly amazing.
I have never burned baked goods while using the Pampered Chef Stoneware pieces. In fact, my cookies look as if I bought them at a bakery- perfectly baked to a golden brown. The secret to the way it browns is in the way the stoneware is made- each piece of stoneware is formed from a natural stoneware clay that evenly distributes heat and draws moisture away from the stone. As if that isn't enough...

Cuisinart Classic Waffle Maker
I am a big believer in starting the day off right with breakfast. As a homeschool family, we enjoy making and eating breakfast together. It may be as simple as some yogurt with granola or scrambled eggs with rosemary but waffles are always a hit. I admit I've been a frozen waffle buyer for years but last year we traveled across the country and the kids discovered fresh waffle makers in hotels. It's just hard to go back to frozen waffles after enjoying freshly made waffles.
The Cuisinart Classic Waffle Maker:
Comes in stainless steel
Easy to use with a "Ready...

I hesitated to buy any Kilz products for a long time thinking there was a lot of hype placed on this product. You know, wanting more money for something that doesn't really work. Well, I just happened to be in Wal-Mart when they had a sale on the paint. I bought some thinking that I would give it a try, not really thinking it would work. I had some red walls that needed covering and I thought that this would be a great test to see how it would work! If it covers my red in one coat I was going to be sold on this product! Low and behold I started painting and it actually covered the red in one coat!...

My Pfaff is about 13 years old so I needed to buy a new one I did not have as much money to spend so I had to go with a "white" sewing machine I did not do any research on this machine and I have to say I wished I had. I had given my old pfaff to someone to use and after six months using the "white" machine I went back to my old Pfaff. I use my machine every day I always have a project going on and my Pfaff always gets me through. I have given my "white" to my eight year old granddaughter. I started sewing when I was nine and my mother had an old Pfaff that had no plastic parts it was very...

I love smoothies, and I really wanted to make my own at home, so I purchased the Oster 18-Speed 5-Cup Digital Blender. I'll admit it, it's mostly because the motor base has a stainless-steel look and it matched my other kitchen appliances This is the first blender I have ever owned, so keep that in mind as you read my review...may be more operator error than a blender issue.
What I like about it: Great look: I love the metal-look (note: it's not real stainless steel). The pitcher is made of thick glass. The digital buttons are easy to press. It's simple to understand: there are arrows...

Dreft laundry detergent is so wonderful for the washing of babies and children clothes. It is also good to use for delecates. This is what I use to wash my son's clothes, blankets, toys, ect. All of his items keep that soft baby small and know that using Dreft there is no residue or allergans on my son's clothes to bother his skin. Children's skin is so tender and easily irritated but this detergent elliminates that fear as a mother. Evey time I was my son't clothes I feel I'm doing something extra special for him thinking ahead about how fragile and special he is. Also I find that...

Being the fragrance junkie that I am, I jumped at the chance to receive the Glade Sense & Spray for free through Bzzagent.com. I had seen this product at the store but the suggested retail price tag of $8.99 just wasn't in my budget.
I've used all kinds of fragrance products including candles, plug-ins, aerosol sprays, and diffusers. I was pretty content with all of these but now I'm hooked on the Glade Sense & Spray.
So what is the Glade Sense & Spray and how does it work? It is a motion-activated freshener that releases a puff of spray only when motion is detected (up to 5 feet away). ...

I purchased the Simmons Beautyrest Black - Roslyn mattress in 2008. Initially it was a wonderful night's sleep and I was really happy with spending nearly $3000 to buy it. However, a year and a half later I am throughly dissappointed that a mattress that expensive should start to sag and form a deep bowl impression on the right half of the mattress. This has started to cause my hips to ache after sleeping on that side. The rep came to measure the depth of the impression and fortunately it meets the criteria to be replaced under warranty but initially when I was at the store talking...

One of my units is now five years old and still works. As this is way out of warranty, I have to say that I am pleased. My newer unit is digital and won't restart after a power fail. This is a downside. However, the original unit is flawless and keeps the room it is in very warm. There is almost no sound which is important to me as I listen to music in that room. Yes it was more expensive than other units, but it is accurate in temperature and it has a "real" temperature dial rather than numbers from 1-10. The old adage that you get what you pay for applies here. If you don't...

Oxy Deep Spot & Stain Carpet Cleaner was a blessing and is a wonderful product. I don't know what I would have done without this product.
There was a place I worked where they had some older cats. They were very well trained and house broken. Their litter box was in the garage and there wasw a pet door. These little cats used their garage litter box regularly. I was so happy with them.
Problems arose when they began having health problems. Missy was just having so many problems and we took her to the vet. She was experiencing kidney failure.
Lioness was doing beautifully but she, too, began having...

IKEA Poang Chair
My husband "Pal" and I have a complete record with the popular Ikea Poang Chair. We purchased our first at Ikea, another (with the footstool) at Goodwill, and pulled in two off the street. They have circulated from room to room and always said "Welcome" to anyone entering the room. Judged by looks only, the Poang is positively seductive.
The Ikea Poang provides comfort and support from the first sitdown. It is not however the chair for a full evening's sit watching TV nor is it the ideal chair for a long read by the fire in the livingroom. Fact is, it's not truly supportive in a way that...

I love my Troy Bilt snowblower it is so dependable. It has no problem starting weather it is 35 degrees or -35, it goes strong with it's 7 horsepower engine and serated auger blades. When the city snowplows pile all of the snow in front of my driveway most of the time, or by the time I get to it it's usually slushy and nasty stuff, I go to the shed and get out the snowblower and usually use the electric start (but you can use the pull start too Ha Ha) and it plows right through it. Troy bilt has a very god reputation as being well built, dependable, and reliable. I cant wait till the snow...

I purchased a sealy mattress a month ago at Kemper furniture in Hazard Kentucky. I paid almost $2000 for the item. I was satisfied with comfort and durability. My husband said it hurt his back so we had to purchase a topper to go on it. It did help some but he still complains that it is to hard. As for me I like the mattress because I like a firm mattress but if you have a bad back I wouldn't suggest buying this one. The mattress is hard to roll over in you have to actually pick yourself up and turn over you can't just roll over. It seems to be very hot also but it is cold outside...
