FedEx
Pacakage delivered and since no one is home to sign for it, which is understandable. But why would it be taken 50 miles to another fedex location when I have one 4 miles from my home. They want me to drive that milage to pick it up, or wait for 4 days and it be re-delivered. Whatever!!!! This is the very reason I use UPS or USPS when shipping packages. And ontop of that why would you try to deliver a package in a van with dark tinted windows with no business name on it. What they don't understand is people are being robbed this time of year and a plain white van is not the way to arrive. I have...

Anne Arundel Co. MD Dept. of Public Works (Snow Removal)
The December 18, 2009 storm went down in the record books for Maryland for the biggest snowfall in that month. It will also go down as the WORST ROADS CLEAN-UP in history too. I have never seen as poor a job on the roads as I have from this past weekends storm.
Main roads seem to be the tunnel vision - but keep in mind - you have to get from the side road first before you can hit that main road.
Even roads like Crain Highway, Ritchie Highway and Quarterfield road were still snow covered, going from not quite 2 lanes down to 1 without warning. We had no left turn lanes on Ritchie nor Crain until...

Bounce Fabric Softener Sheets are a must in my house. They are not only used in the laundry but all over the house and yard. I buy the biggest size available because these sweet smelling sheets are not liked by bugs. During the summer when the insect population is high I drape myself with Bounce Fabric Softener Sheets. This keeps me from constant attacks by creepy crawly critters that give me welts all over my body. They do not like the smell so they stay away. They are good in the woods also. I put them in my pockets, down my bra, up my sleeves, in my shoes and in my hat. That covers most of my...

Fellowes telephone cleaning wipes are not worth the money that you pay to purchase them. They are not big enough and they don't have enough life in them to clean a full-size telephone. I use them at work and usually have to use three to get the telephone wiped off and they don't include disinfectant which I think is a bummer.
They are made in the United Kingdom and are specially formulated for telephone cleaning. I have written them to tell them my opinion and nobody has gotten back to me on it. I wonder if they just ignored my review. However, using more than one at a time is a waste of product,...

I recently attended an event at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts and at various locations throughout the museum were crafts for the children to create. I noticed the new Crayola 56-1135: Washable GlueStick and prior to using it there (and then buying it for my home) I thought all glue sticks were created equal. I was wrong - this one is the king of glue sticks, except I am using it so much I think they need to make bigger ones.
What do I like about the Crayola 56-1135: Washable GlueStick
- the capped end so that it stands in place instead of rolling away
- the blue glue stick so you know...
United Parcel Service (UPS) MD
Whats going on with UPS of late. They are not as customer oriented as they used to be. Making changes that effect the receipient of packages that are very inconvenient. Also the delivery is so much like "ACE VENTURA" it's not funny.
Today I received an expensive delivery and was shocked at the way it was handled. The box was heaved (as it sounded from the otherside of my front door) into the chair outside my home.
Besides the fact that the shipper did not pack it very well in the first place, UPS did not consider that it may be a fragile item inside. They just throw and go.....
Sad, sad, sad. ...
