I like cooking with our NuWave Oven.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

My mother gave me and my wife a NuWave oven for Christmas, more than a month early but she did say it was for Christmas even though we had it before Thanksgiving. I can not complain as it came in handy as I cooked the ham in the Nuwave while the Turkey cooked it the oven. The ham came out better than the Turkey and everyone ate it up quick. I love how crispy it makes bacon but do not like how small it as as I could not cook that much bacon at a time. The NuWave also does not save you that much time on cooking bacon as I can make it the microwave in 7 minutes and it took me almost a half hour too cook the same amount of bacon in the Nuwave. It is less messy than cooking in the microwave thoug...

A life saver for us!!!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Due to some hardships we wound up moving into a small apartment off my daughter's shop....it is great for us but we had no real cooking capabilities. That was really creating a problem for us, then we saw the nuwave oven on tv. We decided to get it and wow, we can actually eat real meals!!! It has changed everything for us. We love it...the service was great, and we can't wait to cook everyday. I can't believe it really does cook from frozen to wonderful!!! We hope to hit the road in a 5th wheel in the near future, it will be great for that too. Thank you NuWave Oven for making our little apartment into more of a home!!!

I love my Nuwave Oven!!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I have owned my Nuwave Oven for almost four years, and I still love it!! It cooks just about everything, and heats up leftovers that taste fresh too!! I have baked several whole 12-15 pound turkeys in my Nuwave Oven, from frozen, and they are done in three to four hours. And they have always been beautifully browned and beautiful!!

I have purchased a Nuwave Oven for my kids for wedding gifts, and my sister bought one and got one for my mom. We all love them and use them quite often.

I love how you can cook without adding extra oils to your food. I just can put my chicken on the grill, season it, and let it cook. It turns out perfect every time. I chop it and put it in my salad fo...

This is a healthier way of cooking!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I have used this oven many times and I am never disappointed with the flavor of the food. Fat melts off of any meat and you can see it dripping into the drip pan, sorry if that sounds kind of gross but it is better to be off then have to worry about trimming. I have used this oven to make everything from cupcakes to 16lb turkeys and every time it comes out perfect. I love the recipes that are in the included cookbook, but I have no problem preparing my own recipes. I can plug it into an electrical outlet outside and use it in place of a grill, so there is no charcoal taste in the food, and the fat melts off! I love roasting veggies in it, they come out perfect every time. The drip pan and other pans that I bought with it, were very easy to clean. This is a must for everyone who wants to eat healthier and save time cooking. The Nuwave Oven cooks more uniformly than my conventional oven, and uses less electricity!

Nu Wave for a new generation

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I think of my mother in law every time I look at my Nuwave oven. There was a curly perm called Wave Nuveau and she always called it New wavo. Now there is a new wave but it is in ovens not hair styles. The Nuwave oven is a wonder on the television commercials. it works like a charm and every meal comes out just right. I find however that in my kitchen I am actually a little intimidated of this space age looking "oven". I am very careful when using it. Always afraid I will use the wrong button. This definately is not my mother or grandmother's oven. My old school thinking brain needs to get used to the idea of fast cooking. I grew up in an era where you allowed food to cook a good long time. And even though the food is just as juicy and flavorful when cooked in the Nuwave oven, I find I am apprensive and revert back to my regualr oven. The Nuwave oven is definately moe healthy as it gets rid of all the harmful fat but I still am not 100% sold on it. Perhaps in time.

Beware of the Rusty Rack.

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

Hello Y'all,

I have something that's been kind of gnawing on my brain that I just need to get out.  I figure this is as good of a way to do it as any.

I am writing about my experience with my NuWave oven, as well as my frustrating experience with their customer service, or lack thereof, when I have had an issue to deal with.

My issue has been with the rack.  I have had mine get rusty. We are not talking a little bit of rust, but extremely rusty.   I have had to buy a new one due to the fact that I was too scared to keep using the original one, not knowing what rust would do once it not only got on food, but got cooked into...

love it

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

My parents saw this on tv and had to have one. When they called in they were having a special so they got two for the price of one. After they tried it out a few times they insisted that I take their second one because they were sure I would love it too. I think this is amazing! I am always cooking chicken and now it only takes me roughly 15 minutes to cook rather than 30+ min that my recipes call for. The best part about cooking chicken in this is that it stays moist. I hate when the chicken gets dried out in the oven but that has never happened with the Nuwave oven. I have mainly only cooked chicken in it but I have triend lobster, baked potatos and we even made shrimp scampi in it. Everth...

being a mom to 6 kids and a blogger and a part time photographer I tend to not have alot of time. I forget to take the meats out of the freezer to defrost for dinner so when its ask what for dinner I am like darn I dont know now. With the Nuwave oven I dont have to worry. I can take frozen meat right out of the freezer place in the nuwave oven and in the same amount of time or less it is cooked and yummy.

I love the easer of use. I love the quietness. I love that it cook fast and even frozen food.  I like that my food is not cooking in its own grease and oils which makes for alot healtier meals. I have used it for sausages which makes it like the ones at the stores so plump and juicy a...

My NuWave Oven has completely revolutionized my cooking style.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I had seen info-mercials for the NuWave oven for several years and had been considering purchasing one off and on for nearly as long as I had heard of it. I was finally convinced when I found it on sale at Kohl's and could also get free shipping. I purchased the oven with the extender ring that allows you to cook larger items such as a whole turkey or ham, and I also received the silicone pizza flipper set.

One of the best features of the NuWave oven for busy people is the fact that you can cook foods from fresh or frozen. This is especially important for people like me who don't always plan ahead in enough time to thaw foods for dinner. With the three types of cooking (infrared, conduction...

Pans stick together-can't pull apart to clean

Plastic dome gets cloudy and always looks dirty.

Ease of use
Rated 2 out of 5

Awkward to position dome when accessing food. It sits on a metal stand attached to the unit and can roll off if not positioned properly. Also takes too much counter space when dome is removed.

Durability

Metal handles to pull out metal grease pan came off shortly after I bought the unit.

Don't buy. Unit has a metal pan to catch grease. This metal pan fits inside of a plastic pan which serves as the bottom of the unit. The flimsy handles used to lift the metal pan out of the plastic pan came off shortly after I bought the unit and now I can't get the metal pan out of the plastic pan. It was always hard to clean, but now impossible because the 2 pans are stuck together. They must create a vacuum that prevent pulling the metal pan from the plastic bottom. Have to discard it. Service Dept didn't respond to my problem.

An Absolute Scam- Avoid this Company and its Junk!!!

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

Do not buy this item. Not only does it not work as advertised (e.g., roasted potatoes took nearly 2 hrs, pizza soggy, chicken took longer than cookbook specifications), but if you are dissatisfied the company will ONLY credit you $19.98!!! My total cost for this unit was $124.83, and after many contacts with thier very poor customer service- I was told that there was a $25 restocking fee, I had to pay for shipping this junk back, and the 90 days of use did not include shipping from the factory, nor return shipping time, so really you have about two months to try this machine. Furthermore, the original SHIPPING AND HANDLING costs were $79.85, so by the time they added up all of my costs I was...

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At first I **LOVED **the oven but, I'm thankful I went online and read the review. They said not to buy it through the "Official Sight" because the customer service was awful if you had problems such as the 2 that seemed most common.

1- that the heating element detaches from the lid and

2- that the heating element stops heating.

A store had it on sale that week so I COULDN'T wait to get it!!!!!!!! I'm glad I did my research! At first it worked GREAT!!!!!!!!! I was bragging to EVERY ONE and ANY ONE who would listen about this wonderful invention that cooked so wonderfully and saved me time! Steaks frozen cooked AMAZINGLY! I was even ...

NuWave Mini Oven Is Too Small

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

I believed all the advertising hype and reviews about the regular NuWave ovens but my kitchen is too small for the larger models. When the NuWave Mini model came out, I excitedly bought the Mini on sale. I experimented with it 4 different times and even contacted the product website for help but their solutions were no help. The unit was too small to accommodate a whole chicken with veggies as the recipe manual suggested. The veggies fell off the rack whenever the dome was lifted up. Chicken was raw at the bones even with flipping over as manual suggested. Juices splattered into the open heating element housing getting burned and dirty fast (it doesn't come apart to reach inside for cleaning...

Great for people who can't cook!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I'm a spur-of-the-moment eater, so I rarely plan in advance what I might want to eat at any given time. This oven is perfect for me because if, at 5:00, I decide I'd like to have some chicken for dinner, I can throw some frozen chicken into the oven and have a delicious meal in a very short time. The cooking times for frozen chicken aren't quite accurate, so I tend to add about 5 minutes per side to cook all the way down to the bone. I don't make pizza in this oven because it is just perfectly too small for a large. If I were to get a small or personal size pizza, I'd probably use it. I've had my oven for about a year and have only used it for meats, toast and (tried) pizza. But, I'm not a c...

I can cook

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

When my husband first told me about this NuWave Oven I thought he was out of his mind. I thought, we have an oven, a toaster oven and a microwave, why do we need to spend the money on this contraption. Plus, I was thinking, eek, where are we going to store this huge contraption.

Well, he ordered it and I made fun of him for days - until he used it. It cooked super fast. When they say meals from the freezer to the table in 20 minutes - they are serious.

Chicken - comes out juicy. No more dry chicken

Fish - yummy!

Steak - all I can say is wow.

Plus, excess fat and grease are removed from the food we eat. So the food is good and tasty. Can't beat that!

Both my husband and I work full time and this has been a huge time savor for us. Yes, it is on the large side so storage was a hassle at first but it was worth the trouble of finding a home for this in the kitchen. We use it at least 3 times a week. Plus, it is easy to clean!
