I have used the avent baby bottle with both of my kids. They were so picky about bottles when they were babies. It was the only one they really liked. I'm not sure why but I guess it was the only nipple they could get usded to and stick to it. They are made in England which says on the bottle. But they come in the 4 ounce sizes and the 9 ounce sizes too. We had to go through three different kinds of bottles until they really took the avent bottle. They do cost a lot more money then parent choice or other brands. All stores don't sell them either. I couldn't find them at walmart. But they are at rite aid pharmacy and Meijer stores. We actually saved the bottles too because my wife is expecting to have a baby boy in 3 months. SO lets hope he likes these bottles too. If not we still have are other brand of bottles but mostly just the avent ones. Another good thing about this bottle is it's wide and big, so it's easy to clean with a rag or bottle brush. They aren't skinny and tall like other bottles. Short and fat they are. They are also dishwasher safe. But I always prefer to wash them by hand with a bottle brush to make sure they are getting clean enough. Especially the nipples. THe nipples by the way are bigger kind of like the gerber brand ones if you have ever seen those. They are clear, nipples and bottles. The bottles also have blue numbers and lines on them to make it easy to read when filling the bottles by ounces with formula, water, juice, or breastmilk. We have used them in the mircrowave wich proves that's save to. They didn't melt or anything. It is easier and quicker to warm the bottle like that instead of waiting for water to boil on the stove. I'm sure many people do it still. People say not to but it's okay, as long as you check it on your wrist so it's not hot for the baby. Anyway, back to this awesome bottle, I've never seen anything else for it except the bottle and transition first sippy cup. Which we used with are kids to but didn't like that. I have never seen pacifiers or anything else like bowls or dinnerware for toddlers. So mainly the bottles in the avent brand we have used. If you have a picky baby about bottles or nipples this one is the best to use. Also iit is supposed to help with colic babies. My kids didn't have colic. I don't know if it's because we used the bottles or they just didn't have it. Both my kids are now 3 and 1 and half years old and expecting a baby boy. So I hope he will enjoy the Avent bottle as much as my girls did. I hope your babies will enjoy it too. If you have any questions let me know I will be glad to answer them for you about this great bottle. The bottle size is a good thing for you and the baby. It is big for babies hands when he or she starts to hold it by themselves. It don't have grips on it or anything but it is still a good bottle for baby or you to hold. Especially if you have small hands or big hands it works with everyone to hold. It's light weight for us and baby to hold. It has great flow for baby so no gas bubbles for the baby or upset stomach. Less spit up I guess. Reduces colic for baby and happy nights of sleep for you and baby. Colci was never a problem for our girls. Of course they both slept with there bottle, but it didn't have formula in it. Just nursery water, so there teeth don't get cavitites from the juice or formula. Now that I think about it I know theses bottles brand have breast pump equipment. I remember my wife getting one free from the hospital to take home to use. It was the Avent brand. SHe didn't use it long but it did work well. She couldn't handle nursing to painful I guess. But yeah the Avent brand has one 4 ounce bottle that came with it to use with the pump. The pump is manual which you had to use it by hand not, elctric, plugging it in and just letting it go. I don't know if that's just wahat the hospital was giving away or they just don't have the electirc breast pumps in the avent brand. Maybe it was just to exspensive to give to all the patients. It would be nice to see a pacifier in the avent brand since my kids liked the bottles so much. The avent brand is also pedatrician recommended and parents approved. I know it's very approved by my wife and I. The sippy cup transition is hard for babies, but the Avent brand makes a cup to make it easy on the babies and parents to get through. You actually use the same bottle part you just take the nipple out and put in the silicone piece for the sippy cup. It also has handles you can put on the bottle so baby can hold the bottle by themselves. So you can use it for a bottle or a sippy cup. WHich makes it nice!
